25.01.2022 Hey everyone - here is Part 1 of my recent trip up north, this part was filmed on day 1 & 2 and features the Karara Rangelands. I hope you enjoy it.

24.01.2022 Went down early to capture the sunrise this morning but it didnt really eventuate (the colour that is) but that didnt matter as the reason I wanted to capture the sunrise was special to me. Canon 6D and Canon 24 - 105mm F4 Lens.

24.01.2022 Hey everyone - I just uploaded another Vlog onto YouTube. This one is about focus stacking using long exposures as well as how to use Photoshop to do the stacking, have a look and if you like it subscribe, share, like it and comment - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQDABYHy_iU&feature=youtu.be

24.01.2022 Went on a trip out to the north-eastern Wheatbelt and Yilgarn Regions with a few mates and had an absolute ball. We went in search of some Aboriginal rock art and old homesteads and dams.

22.01.2022 For something different, today I played around with focus stacking on a snail shell. I am amazed at the level of detail in the shell and I like how just focusing on the shell has given me a nice depth of field while blurring the foreground and rear ground. Camera - Canon 450D with a Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro lens and available light only.

21.01.2022 Just uploaded a video from a trip I did yesterday to photograph an old house in the canola - I hope you enjoy it.

21.01.2022 Tried my focus stacking on a dead moth that I found - even in death it is an awesome subject. For the last image, instead of using the focus rails, I just use the LCD screen and changed focus moving into the image and it seemed to work well. Canon 450D with Tamron F2.8 90mm macro lens using available light.

20.01.2022 Found a dead frog :-( while cleaning up the backyard so decided to take some images of it - hairy little fella. Used my Canon 450D and Tamron 90 mm F2.8 macro lens and focused stacked the images.

19.01.2022 Played around with some long exposure photography during midday using my 10 stop ND filter. Later in the afternoon I took some images of the reflections in the dead calm waters. Canon 6D with the Canon 24 - 105 mm F4 lens and Zomie 10 stop ND filter.

19.01.2022 Just created a Blog page on my website to keep everyone informed of my activities :-)

17.01.2022 Took advantage of the easing of restrictions to get out and do some camping over the weekend with some friends. Didnt do too much in the way of photography but did take some photos of my new set-up with the extended awning. Played around with some reflection photography and with my CPL Filter.

15.01.2022 Still playing around with my macro focus stacking and using long exposures. All images taken with my Canon 450D and Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro lens.

09.01.2022 Needed to get out of the house so I headed down to Shoalwater and Point Peron to practice my long exposure photography. Not the best conditions light wise but it was better than sitting inside watching TV. Canon 6D & Canon 24 - 105 mm F4 lens with Zomie 0.6 GND filter and 10 stop ND filter.
