25.01.2022 Our final Come and Try Baseball Sessions at Western Districts Baseball Club is coming up tomorrow and we hope to see you there. This Saturday, we have the third session for boys and girls (and Adults too). It's your opportunity to come and try baseball in a Fun, Friendly and Free session. Baseball is the perfect sport for both boys and girls and no experience is necessary. Held at the Wests Baseball Darra fields located at 59 Westcombe Street, Darra (not far from the Mo...nier Road shops), these sessions are open to children and adults of all ages. We will supply all equipment on the day, so just come along wearing some active wear and shoes. Teams start with T-ball for our kids under 8 years of age, there's Rookie Ball for Under 10's, Little League for Under 12's and then Under 14's, Under 16's and Under 20's before moving into our Adult and Masters leagues. Adult players looking to get back into sport, come on down and chat with our Committee. We've got competitive and social teams you can join depending on what you're looking for. 24.01.2022 Our FREE Come and Try Session is still on today at 2pm at our Wests Baseball Darra fields. We have an Industry Approved COVIDSAFE plan in place and will taking additional precautions on the back of the Government's latest advice. Parents and guardians are encouraged to either stay in their car or to remain either in the grandstands (appropriately distanced) or around the outer fences.... We will have our COVID register for everyone arriving and lots of Hand Sanitiser to go around. If you or your kids are not feeling well, please stay home to reduce the risk of transmission to others. We have another session next weekend so there's still plenty of time to attend a session. You're welcome to wear a face mask if you choose - but it's not mandatory which aligns with the Health Department's advice.
