19.01.2022 Westside Basketball Association and Woodville District Basketball Club invites all those with children interested in basketball to attend a FREE Come and Try session at St Clair Recreation Center, Woodville Road on Saturday the 15th of February. Basketball is a exciting sport that is engaging for children of all athletic abilities, ages and gender. Coaches and volunteers will be available on the day to discuss playing opportunities. The Woodville Warriors District Basketball Club and Westside Basketball Association are excited to invite you to register your team for the 2020 St Clair Christmas carnival.... 03.01.2022 To All WDBC and WBA Members The board met today to discuss the position on the COVID-19 and its effect on the club. As of today the Board has decided to suspend all training and relating club functions that could potentially cause harm to our players and members. This includes, training, individual training sessions or Indy's, photos etc.... The board will reconvene in 2 weeks time to determine the next cause of action. This could potentially be earlier if the BSA change their position. The WBDC and WBA will continue to follow the BSA guidelines. The NBL1 season has been discussed to return on the 18th of April, Juniors would not possibly come back until the normal school holidays return at the end of April. This would be a modified season and it is hard to speculate how this would translate for a full season to a modified season. The WDBC & WBA will continue to update its members throughout this difficult period. Sincerely Cory Higgins | Club President
