02.01.2022 Hi all, As most of you will be starting to prepare for our showcase tomorrow I thought now would be a great time to post some must haves for behind the scenes. As any family who has been with us for awhile or danced with a company prior to us will know, concert days are long days that often involves a lot of waiting around and usually leaves the kids wiped out so it's important to be prepared. MUST HAVES:... - Costumes - Accessories - Hair Piece - Dance Shoes - Makeup (your child WILL require touch ups between rehearsal and showtime) - Water RECOMMENDED: - Hairspray & Extra Bobby Pins - Dressing Gown/Robe to cover costumes - Makeup Wipes - Spare Underwear (for TINIES etc) - Snacks - Entertainment (Colouring cooks, barbies etc - electronic devices AT YOUR OWN RISK) - Blanket/Picnic Rug (the floors often get dirty fast, this gives your child a comfortable place to sit and also protects their costume, tights etc from getting dirty) - PJs & Slippers for younger children - as it is a week night and runs relatively late children may not stay awake for the trip home Parents staying until showtime: Please remember to sign you and your child in. Remember to pack tickets, purse/wallet etc. (panadol is my absolute must have). Coffee and snacks available at front kiosk. Dance Programmes available for gold coin donation. Westside Dance x
