24.01.2022 Hi ALL, Firstly. We would like to thank all of you who are adhering to the current Federal and State legislation during these trying times. Your respect of our staff and other customers has been wonderful to experience and witness.... As you would expect, we are as new to the current regulations and situation as you are. As a business, we are committed to the health and well being of both our Staff and our Customers and will continue to follow the directives from Federal and State Governments and Health Authorities to maintain, as far as is practicable a Safe and Healthy work environment for ALL. We understand that the laws of Social Distancing are new and uncomfortable to all, but it DOES WORK so please continue with your efforts. Our pumps and all Customer/Staff contact points, EFTPOS, Cash register, service counter etc, are disinfected as regularly as possible for the safety of us all. We understand that many of you fell uncomfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) whilst carrying out a simple purchase. Let us assure you that we make no judgment of your preferred method of protection and that you will be welcomed as normal. Management and Staff West Ulverstone United.

22.01.2022 Hi All, There is a small (greyish coloured) dog, possibly a Maltese/Shih Tzu roaming between Alice Street, Amy Street and Queen Street, West Ulverstone. He has had several close encounters with traffic......... Myself and staff tried to catch him/her but I think this dog has a bit of Houdini in it... Last seen trotting on Alice Street heading toward the show ground and park area. Please share and get this little one safely home.... Similar colourings to sample picture Cheers

20.01.2022 Hi ALL, It has come to our attention that at times our staff members receive some very nasty comments from disgruntled customers about lack of service........ PARTICULARLY if staff members are NOT pumping fuel when required by SOME customers. Let us inform and remind you all, that it is sometimes impossible to attend to the needs/requirements of all customers at the same time, as it seems we, for some reason are expected to (we do our VERY BEST). But we are human and rely o...n a systematic approach to provide timely customer service and therefore would hope our customers understand that; 1. It is necessary for staff (humans) to at times when necessary, relieve themselves (As do we all) 2. Shifts for staff members are approx 6 hours at a time and during this time management would hope that staff members can at least sip on a coffee/tea/cold drink and toilet themselves when necessary without being abused for non attendance. 3. If you as a customer are in a hurry to get to your appointment, we do not mind if you pump your own fuel (we have NEVER stated that it must be an attendant to do this). 4. RACT members with a CURRENT fuel discount claim card are reminded that a claim for discount (on FUEL ONLY) is usable/claimable ONCE per DAY per CARD for up to 150 litres of fuel product only.... Please (READ the TERMS and CONDITIONS of DISCOUNTS as were supplied to you as a member of RACT !!! If you have any questions/dispute with our staff, your first line of contact is with RACT......... NOT ABUSE to staff ! 4. We as an INDEPENDENTLY OWNED business, practice the principles of the OH&S ACT (LAW) to provide a safe workplace for our staff and customers and would remind all that harassment of both staff and customer is a sever breach of that law and will not be tolerated . We hope that our efforts to achieve this opportunity to provide faster filling of diesel to our valued customers is welcomed and explored by existing and potential customers. High/Fast Flow diesel is now available from the usual diesel pump at the Eastern corner of the shop. We advise small fuel tank diesel vehicles (Cars, light commercial and small truck) customers to use the LOW FLOW diesel PUMPS (Now situated on the centre area of our forecourt.
