21.01.2022 Training today at 6pm.. be good to see a good turn out again and keep doing the hard yards.. Also, we have a committee meeting this Sunday at 10am at the footy... sheds.. We are desperately seeking more people to get involved with this side of the club, as it is becoming very taxing for our current members who dedicate a lot of time and effort to keep this club going. 11.01.2022 West Wallsend RLFC is reopening the position of Coach for the upcoming 2021 season. Unfortunately due to personal reasons Derek Mcvey is no longer able to take up the role of Coach for 2021. We thank Derek for his application and interest on WWRLFC and wish him all the best. The Committee is determined not to let this derail the 2021 season and its belated 50yr celebrations. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone. With the AGM finalised we would like to introduce your 2020 executive committee: President: Kye Juhnke Vice President: Grant Orr... Secretary: Sasha Juhnke Treasurer: Terri Blanch As you can see there has been little change and we hope together we can make 2020 another successful year of footy. A few positions still remain vacant, such as Assistant Secretary and Canteen Coordinator. If you think you can step up and help with either of these positions please contact the page. We welcome Jamie Gould onboard as coach for the LLT. Jamie will work closely with Joel in the 2020 season. The position of coach for our men’s team is yet to be filled, with two promising applicants having to withdraw for personal reasons. If you or someone you know would like to apply for the Head Coach position, please email [email protected] with your application. We would like to see all applications received by Sunday 15.12.2019. 05.01.2022 Due to the extreme heat we will be rescheduling our planned working bee today. The committee meeting will go ahead at 10am at the field. Everyone is going welcome to attend and we encourage new volunteers to come along as there are still positions on the committee that require filling and any help is much appreciated.

05.01.2022 West Wallsend are very excited to announce Derek Mcvey as the Magpies coach for 2021. Derek comes to us with a wealth of experience having played ARL and English Super League winning the title. Derek is also highly credentialed as a coach having coached Tooheys Cup for multiple years and winning Coach of the year, coaching in Harold Mats & SG Ball, coaching in America and being heavily involved in Junior development throughout his career. Derek welcome to the Magpies.

03.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances the club is looking to fill the position of secretary. The position is integral to the the day to day running of the club. If you, or anyone you know may be interested in stepping into this role please contact us ASAP. We also need someone to fill the role of canteen coordinator for the 2020 season. We appreciate all of our amazing supporters who show up week in week out to cheer on our teams, however if you would like to ensure you have a team to cheer for in 2020, now is the time to step up and volunteer.
