25.01.2022 What does the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak mean for our weekly sheep markets? PLEASE READ this IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT from Horsham Rural City Council: Coun...cil sees the Horsham Regional Livestock Exchange as a critical service to continue during the COVID-19 emergency, to help ensure food security. To ensure that sales can continue, Council needs to limit the attendance by non-essential people at the site. Access during the sale WILL BE RESTRICTED TO Agents, Buyers, Transport Operators, Council and their staff. THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND, even if they are sellers at the sale. We are conscious that many regular attendees are in an age bracket that is potentially more vulnerable to the virus, and are taking this measure as a means of ensuring continuity of the sales. This will take effect from this Wednesday 18th March 2020. THANKYOU ALL for adhering to these restrictions, for the benefit of the wider community.
