We have a bride staying with us here at the Westwood this weekend ...good luck Alesha and we wish you the best We’ve implemented extra measures to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff... The Westwood remains fully operational and most local businesses are working hard to supply us on most of our needs. There is a shortage of hand sanitizer in Armidale but hopefully supplies will be passed on to businesses ASAP ..so far plenty of soap and toilet paper We are a family business and the vast majority of businesses like ours are in unprecedented times but we just continue on and support each other the best way we know ..day by day Melinda and Al

As the restrictions ease and businesses gradually reopen, we are excited to welcome our loyal guest back to the Westwood. We understand that you will understandably have a heightened awareness and expectation of cleanliness when it comes to your choice of accommodations. We have always provided you with clean and well maintained rooms and will continue to do so.... We have taken extra measures to make our customers feel safe and assure you of all hospital/covid safe cleaning products meet with all standards. We have provided hand sanitizers in our front reception as well as providing in all rooms and apartments. Enhanced and thorough cleaning protocols have been implemented in guest rooms. All linen is changed with all touch points such as door handles, light switches and any surfaces have been cleaned with hospital grade chemicals. Motel employees will follow strict guidelines including utilizing frequent and stringent hand-washing protocols and all staff wear gloves and masks. Employees will be empowered to stay home if unwell, communicate their potential exposure to COVID-19 with management, and will be fully educated on how to maintain a safe and clean work station.
