22.01.2022 2021 events and wedding trends Been doing some research into some of these to put together a blog for you guys and there’s one reoccurring thing that’s popping up.. The loss of cocktail events and weddings means a change of focus to seated events. Due to the uncertain times of capacities and limitations due to the C word (no silly I mean Covid ) it’s time we refocus our offerings and maybe even bring more selections to a new market!!... Our capacities are down and everyone must remain seated, but that DOESN’T mean we can’t have a good time. 06.01.2022 Amazing sunsets, nice swells and great white sharks I’ve taken a little Instagram break over the last couple of weeks, been focusing on a few new website pages that I’m super excited to launch (v soon) I’ve also been super lucky to have some amazing friends visit and after lockdown and covid, it’s been nice to spend some time without my phone ... HOWEVER... this lead me to a local scuba diving spot (by far my fav) Julian Rocks here in Byron Bay. After seeing 6 grey nurse sharks, turtles, rays and tones of fish, I surfaced around 100m from the boat, and lost a flipper managed to get it back on and start swimming to the boat. Nice 3m swells and a lot of kicking but I made it.... ... only to find out from the skipper after we were back on land that I’d surfaced just as a 4m great white was hanging out near the boat.... Which I was swimming towards.... With one fin... Looking like a wounded seal.... Haha anyways, clearly I survived... what an experience though! These times are uncertain, so as your venue may be aware, the conversion rates have decreased a little with enquiries decreasing a damn lot But, be confident - there's still people wanting to celebrate in small numbers, to book as many people as they can in your spaces.
