20.01.2022 Lucky last! The teachers and staff from Wetlands Environmental Education Centre had a fabulous day with Hillsborough PS Stage 3 at Pelican Foreshore yesterday conducting a Grime Scene Investigating (GSI). Students performed experiments to understand the natural and human impacts of the area and searched for evidence of micro plastics and grime in the water. The results were excellent. 16.01.2022 Our second visit from Hillsborough PS for the week were Stage 2 excellent Eco Explorers! They found so many sustainable things anyone can do and are great at conducting experiments. We just love how Chief Counter @davidpocock summed it up in a few easy steps: "Download the app. Sit outside for 20 minutes. Log what birds you see. Don't know what bird it is? There's a Field Guide/Bird Finder in the app!" Then hit submit. DONE! Of course you can submit your sightings on our website too. And a heads up!
