22.01.2022 National and Countries Coach Expressions of Interest Hi All, We expect Water Polo Australia to forecast 2021 national and country championship dates shortly (ex...pected mid to late 2021). We are calling for expressions of interest to coach U17, U19 and Senior Tasmanian teams. Please email expressions of interest to [email protected]. The WPTAS board have decided there is benefit in combining the U16 Boys AYWPC and U17 boys state coach selection in the interest of continuity for this player group. Expressions of interest and selection of this role is a high priority. In the interim U16 boys training will proceed on Wednesdays and Fridays managed by our Director of Operations (Dean Wright).

05.01.2022 Rising star Anne Poynter has spent the last week in Canberra at a Water Polo Australia training camp - here is what she had to say about her exciting experience. The five day WPA TID Cadet Camp held at the AIS was a fabulous experience. Meeting players from other states, accessing the different pools, making use of the recovery room and the dining hall were some highlights! We did a lot of game play and focused on some specific skills in offence and defence. The AIS facilit...ies were great to explore. I am very fortunate to have been able to attend. Thank you to Water Polo Tas for making this opportunity possible

04.01.2022 Well done to the the Tasmanian 18 boys team! A great effort by all the boys against some excellent competition at the NSW state festival 13-15 April. Some ver...y tight games were played over the 3 days, including 2 draws. The boys finished 8th out of the 10 teams. Congratulations all the participating teams and overall winners, ACU Cronulla. Huge thanks to WPNSW, all the organisers and sponsors for running the competition and for enabling other states to enter at short notice. Thanks to all the helpers, and coach Dean Wright.
