06.01.2022 At Western General Bodyworks Group, we are seeking experienced Panel Beater (at Geelong West), Painters (at Maribyrnong & Bundoora). Assemblers (Airport West & Bundoora), Detailer (Werribee) to join the accident repair experts. About the Panel Beater's role: You will be responsible for completing the repair of damaging vehicles to WGBW Group standards. Duties include but not limited to the following:... -Removing and refitting damaged panels ; -Replacing or repairing the damaged parts using mechanical, hydraulic and metalworking equipment; -Re-jointing the repaired parts with welding equipment; -Repairing dents with plastic fillers and file; -May perform other cosmetic work as required to maintain the like-new look of the car by repairing vehicles as instructed by management. Skills and experience: -Trade qualification and previous experience as a panel beater is required -Skilled at smash work -Be flexible and willing to perform a wide range of different tasks -Must have an eye on detail -Strong work ethics -Good time management skill About the Spray Painter's role: We use state of the art technology so our workforce can reach their maximum potential in delivering the best quality. -Trade qualification and previous experience as a spray painting is required -Ability in handling high volumes under pressure -Be energetic, self-motivated and dedicated to quality -Must have an eye on detail -Strong work ethics -Good time management skill About Assembler role: -Stripping and assembling a vehicle before and after repair works -Be energetic, self-motivated and dedicated to quality -Must have an eye on detail -Strong work ethics -Good time management skill About Detailer role: -Car detailer with experience -Attention to detail and a high level of workmanship You will be responsible for detailing vehicles, general cleaning and other duties as required.
