21.01.2022 Stunning performance by this group.

19.01.2022 BlueScope WIN Wollongong Eisteddfod Tonight would have been our last night at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) for our dance scholarships and presentations. Just for something a little different we'd like to introduce you to one our longest attending studios. Kazzajazz Modern Dance Studio has been attending our event for the last 29 years and Principal Karen Lees (nee Moore) was a performer herself back in the 1970's. Karen is sharing her thoughts about us and then... her open Broadway Jazz troupe will be performing a routine for you, "On Broadway", that they danced in December 2019 on the IPAC stage. The Moore family were volunteers and continue to sponsor the Eisteddfod, with the Moore Trophy standing as a reminder to Karen's family. Supporting the Eisteddfod is a tradition for Kazzajazz families, like dance teacher Alana Hyde whose mother also competed in the 1950's and then volunteered as well. We hope you enjoy the final troupe performance of what should have been the 126th Eisteddfod. #dance #BroadwayJazz #troupedancing #performingarts #savethearts #KazzajazzModernDanceStudio #KarenLees #OnBroadway #AlanaHyde #BlueScopeWINCommunityPartners #BlueScopeWINWollongongEisteddfod See more
