18.01.2022 Are you, or someone you know, looking for translated resources about COVID-19? Resources have been translated into a number of languages and include: videos (...such as this one) audio recordings fact sheets; and posters. People who have vision impairment, or difficulty reading, may benefit from listening to audio files on their own, or along with translated fact sheets and posters. You can find information on COVID-19 testing, self-isolation, physical distancing, contact tracing and more. Explore our resources at: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDtranslated or www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDmulticultural A big thank you as well to all the South Australian translators and interpreters who assisted us with these resources.
17.01.2022 Arts Extravaganza is going to be a bit different this year, and just quietly, it's coming together beautifully so far.
17.01.2022 Year 7 Parents please note: ROMA MITCHELL TRANSITION VISIT In light of the recent COVID-19 restrictions that we are presented with, along with the fourteen-day closure of Roma Mitchell Secondary College, our scheduled Week 8 Orientation visits for all Year 7's have been cancelled. ... We will instead be running a modified orientation/induction program when students commence their first day on Wednesday 27 January 2021. Thank you to those teachers who had volunteered to attend on the orientation visits this year.
10.01.2022 A quick note to let families know that we will be postponing SPIDER DAY until Tuesday and Wednesday in week 8 (1/12 & 2/12) Spiders will still be $2
10.01.2022 Please note that due to current restriction, our Indigenous parent gathering on Wednesday 25th from 1:30 - 3:00 has been cancelled. We will attempt have a gathering early in term 1 2021.
03.01.2022 Yet another reminder for parents to please not use the staff carparks to pick up children. It is not a safe space to have students running across the carpark to parents waiting onsite. Please park on the street to keep our students safe.
02.01.2022 Year 7 Parents please note: HENLEY HIGH SCHOOL TRANSITION. "Please be advised that Henley High’s transition days will still proceed this coming Thursday 26th and Friday 27th November.... As the Chief Public Health Officer said, just because the hard lockdown is being lifted does not mean that the risk associated with COVID-19 have passed. As a result we will minimise the number of people coming and going from our site. Wherever possible, please drop and collect students at the gate and maintain the appropriate physical distance from other adults."
01.01.2022 We are getting some requests from familes at home for learning resources. The Department for Education website "Our Learning SA" has a range of age appropriate materials for families to use if they are in isolation.
