21.01.2022 Hello Volleyballers, At this point in time, we obviously aren't starting up a new season. Part of this decision was around the fact that a number of our players come from within the lockdown area. We will continue to follow the advice from the government and ensure we are complient with VVI also. We are required to have a COVID officer. Someone who will help run things once we are back to play. If anyone is interested in more info about this position please contact Bek. We a...re also looking at how and when we will hold an AGM as the association still needs to run in the background even though play is not happening. We will let you know the decision regarding the AGM as soon as we know what we are doing. If anyone is interested in joining the committee or taking on a bigger role then please contact Bek on 0468471611. If you have any further questions about everything then please ask contact Bek. At this point in time it is best to assume we won't be playing again this year. If we are lucky and are allowed to return to play before the end of the year we may look at doing a round robin or a lightning premiership comp.

15.01.2022 So Semi Finals are done and dusted, Congratulations to Wild Dogs (Div1) and Hoggs (Div2) for going straight through to the Grand Final. The Prelim Finals @ 7:30pm are as Follows: Div 1 Stinkers vs Tigers (Wild Dogs to REF) Div 2... Mountain Goats vs BOB (Hoggs to REF) Bad luck to Minions (Div1) and Pirates (Div2) who were knocked out in the Semi finals.. See you this week..

15.01.2022 Grand Final Week!!! Congrats to those who have made the Grand Final. Game times are as follows: 7:30pm- Div 1... Stinkers vs Wild Dogs (Tigers to REF) Approx 8:40pm - Div 2 Hoggs vs BOB (Mountain Goats to REF) We are very Lucky to Have Matt attending to Top Ref both Grand Final Matches.. Teams reffing still need to supply a 2nd ref, scorer and lines people. (min of 4 people, preferably 6) After each match we will have presentations for the Finals and MVPs for the season. There will be food to Nibble on also. So please come along even if your not playing or Refing... Any questions please contact Bek,my number is on the draw

11.01.2022 Well the Autumn Season is done and dusted. Congratulations to our 2 grand final winners Wild Dogs who defeated Stinkers 3-0 and Hoggs who defeated BOB 3-1.... Well done to all teams. Again we want to thank Matt for coming to ref these games for us. Also a massive thanks to Vee for organising and prepping all the food and to Dan for brining it for us. Thank you to the team that came to ref also. Congratulations to our MVPs for the season also. I'll post who they were soon. Next season starts week 1 term 3. So in 3 weeks for those who don't follow school holidays.

If you are new, looking for a team or creating a new team, let me know. We need to start getting things organised for the year. Only a few weeks away until the new season starts..

05.01.2022 Hello Volleyball association members, tonight we held a delegates meeting with team captains or a representative from each team to discuss what we are going to do as an association now with the restrictions the government has put in place, please see below the message I sent to the captain's to pass onto team members: To recap on our meeting tonight: We will be postponing volleyball until after the school holidays/Easter which is 4 weeks. Only missing 2 games at the moment. ...We will organise a meeting after Easter to decide what happens next. If the school holidays are extended/prolonged like there has been talk of, we too will extend being postponed until schools return. Depending on what happens will depend on memberships and team fees and we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Eg if we have to postpone for 6 months then we will work with VVI on what happens with memberships. Whether they get reimbursed or carried over to the next year, we will have to discuss this when/if it comes to that. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

03.01.2022 REMINDER: This week is our AGM. Please let Bek know by tomorrow night if there is anything you would like added to the Agenda for the meeting. Also there must be at least 3 team members per team present at the meeting there will be sheets to sign for attendance. Please have a think about joining the committee for the next 12 months.. there really isn't too much to it. We don't want to drag out the meeting any longer than needed..
