13.01.2022 When we had the lovely guests Gabrielle and John aka @murchisonriverswags (aka @sarahandrews.co mum and dad ) stay this summer, Id told Gabrielle of an incredible encounter Id had with an Orca a few summers back while the family surfed at our favorite beach not far from Whale Song... this incredible black dorsal stood high just out the back and caught my eye, I thought it was a yacht with a black sail, then as it gracefully sank under the water I realized what a special sight... Gabrielle based the beautiful sign she made us off my Orca story ... So very very grateful I love this photo @letsgodare ... time feels preserved here xxxx Happy Monday memories xxxx

For five years we had planned on eloping, until last year. The stars aligned and a wedding with both of our families became possible! My family from Michigan, and Nicks from Tasmania, meeting roughly halfway in Hawaii, August 1st 2020. Boom. Pandemic. Having no idea when international borders will open again, we naturally fell back into our original plan instead of postponing. We eloped! It was pure magic. 10.01.2022 I love the cut of your jib ... Im new to this saying, Clify mentioned it the other day in relation to a nod of respect to an article hed written... I love it! I thought in the spirit of Fathers Day Id share these beautiful photos of my great grandfather Harry Shepherd, Commodore of the Tamar Yacht squadron circa 1916 ... I like the cut of his jib ... Happy Fathers Day!! . Thanks @urbandictionary ... a far classier version of "i like your style", originally used by pirates in the 17th century the expression refers to the forward sail on most ships. The course and speed of a ship is determined by the cut of the ships jib so saying that you like the cut of someones jib is a way of saying, i like the way youre heading.
