24.01.2022 What a fantastic day of whale watching! We must be close to the peak of the northern migration with dozens of whales within a couple of kilometers of our boat this afternoon. Everywhere we looked we saw some splashes and were treated to multiple breaches and trail throws close up from 3 different pods of whales!... If you have not used your Dine & Discover voucher yet, you should definitely use it on a whale watching cruise. Just give us a call on 1800 326 822 to book it in. www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au

23.01.2022 Another stellar morning on the water for us! Our trip started slow but we were lured very far north with some big splashes spotted in the distance! We found a mother and calf out from Pittwater! A little out of our regular range but the change of scenery was enjoyed by all while we watched this pair cruise around doing the occasional flipper slap and showing us their tails

21.01.2022 Mondays are notoriously dull, but not this Monday!! We had an absolute cracking afternoon offshore with multiple large groups of mostly adult humpbacks. We had loads of action with a competition group off the Northern Beaches. At one point we were able to turn the engines off and listen to them singing through the hull of the vessel! Use the code 'Weekday' to get 20% off your whale watching trip with us! ... https://www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au/

21.01.2022 Weekend whale vibes!! Our trip started out slow, very windy conditions made spotting whales a little more challenging than usual. But the perseverance of the passengers and crew paid off when we came across an active cow and calf pair!! We spent the rest of the trip with the pair before returning home

20.01.2022 Our 3pm Express and Adventure cruises got pretty lucky today! A sunset double breach!! This video was sent to us by one of our passengers. Thanks for sharing Natalie :)

20.01.2022 YES! We found this little head-banger of a humpback whale just off Manly Beach this afternoon! We saw it breaching from miles away and had our fingers crossed it would keep going by the time we got there. Not only did it keep going, it literally breached circles around our boat for the entire time we watched it! ... Remember, weekday cruises are currently 20% off with promo code: Weekday. Book online at www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au if you want to see something hopefully as amazing as this

16.01.2022 We found ourselves a little pocket rocket with this calf this afternoon We spotted the action as we were leaving Sydney Harbour and stayed with this little guy for almost 40 minutes as we cruised south together We then headed north to see what else we could find after our little pocket rocket ran out of fuel. We spotted a few distant splashes and we managed to watch a couple more groups before heading home

16.01.2022 Last Saturday was World Hospice Day and it was our great honour and privilege to host families from Bear Cottage in Manly for an afternoon of picture-perfect weather, with lots of frolicking whales and just as many laughs and smiles. Bear Cottage provide invaluable support to families with terminally ill young ones. We are all humbled by the resilience and graciousness of these families.

16.01.2022 It has been a little quiet on our page recently as we have been very unlucky with the weather these past few weeks, forcing us to cancel many cruises. The season isn't over just yet though with two more weeks of whale watching to go in 2020. The weather forecast looks promising and we should still have some whales to watch, if these pictures from the last two weeks of our 2019 season are anything to go by. ... book online www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au and get 20% off with promo code "Save20" or give us a call 1800 326 822.

14.01.2022 Challenging conditions made for some tough watching this afternoon, but in spite of the wind we got some great looks at a large number of pods moving up the coast. We saw some great long range breaching, but sadly couldn't nail down any up close. However, with some wind and sea forecast for tomorrow, we're really hoping to catch a few in the act.

12.01.2022 The annual @Rolex Sydney Hobart yacht race has been given the green light and will go ahead on the 26th of December. It is one of the most spectacular sporting events of the year with a flotilla of sleek yachts races out of Sydney Harbour, following Australia's east coast down to Tasmania. It is equally as amazing as a good whale watching cruise and always a highlight for us at Whale Watching Sydney, so if you want to come along for an adventure and watch the start of the ra...ce in the harbour and follow the yachts down the coast, book online www.myfastferry.com.au/special-events/boxing-day-cruises/ Seats are limited due to reduced COVID-19 capacity on all of our vessels, so get in quick :)

11.01.2022 We loved watching this calf spend more time out of the water than in it on yesterday's whale watching cruise. We should still have good numbers of whales pass Sydney before things are starting to quieten down towards the end of November. So if you thought about going for a cruise, now is your chance before they are gone again until 2021. Weekday cruises are currently 20% off with promo code: Weekday.... Book Online www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au or give us a call on 1800 326 822

08.01.2022 Here are a couple of tail throws and slaps from today's cruises. Here is hoping for more of the same tomorrow :)

06.01.2022 After being sidelined for almost a week due to unfavourable weather, we're back! We had a lovely afternoon on the Tasman Sea, we spent most of our afternoon with a mother, calf and escort trio off the eastern suburbs. They were quite relaxed as they cruised south Towards the end of the trip, we spotted lots of bluebottles! With the weather warming up and more northeasterly winds occurring, we can expect to see more of them ... We're currently offering 20% off our 3hr Discovery Cruise. Use the code 'Save20' when purchasing your tickets! https://www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au/

04.01.2022 Oh, my WHALE! We are (almost) speechless The wind and swell had picked up since our morning trip, but so did the whale activity. We've been seeing a lot of active calves lately (which we love) but it's always spectacular to see an active adult and that's what we had all afternoon! A 12/10 trip as described by one of our regulars who comes most weekends!

04.01.2022 Due to a big wind forecast for this weekend we won't be running any more scheduled Aboriginal Whale Watching cruises after today. We'll be sad to see Uncle Max and company leave us, so Captain Doug Hazell took the opportunity to give uncle a bit of a vessel handling lesson. On ya Uncle!

02.01.2022 We're getting towards the tail end of the 2020 season but that didn't stop this little youngster on our afternoon trip today! It took us a while to find them, but it was worth the wait. This calf did a few jumps and tail throws for us A beautiful sunny afternoon combined with calm seas, sunshine and a happy calf made for a lovely afternoon for everyone on board
