18.01.2022 The Port Augusta Army Cadets are an amazing bunch of Boys and Girls. At the Wharfest we engage them to keep the event clean. They are on site all day and night yesterday and back again today for a final clean. I'm sure you'd agree they did an amazing job.

15.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We have not yet made a decision regarding this years event scheduled for the 1st August. It is in fact, our intention to try and make the event happen, if we can do so in a safe manner and in line with all necessary Covid-19 requirements. It may or may not be held on the 1st August , however we would love to be able to offer the Port Augusta community this event if at all possible. We acknowledge the devastating effect that COVID-19 has had on the Fes...tival, Events and Entertainment industry and we would love to be able to offer Wharfest to them if we can. We are currently waiting on the Government announcement regarding mass gatherings. In the meantime we will continue to work will all our Key Stake Holders to consider our options and activate our Covid Plan. We will make a further announcement at the beginning of July. 11.01.2022 The Showmens Guild of SA have supported the Apex Club of Port Augusta for nearly 50 years providing rides and Amusements at our Apex Fairs, PA Show Big Day Outs and now the Wharfest. Generations before them would setup Every year down the foreshore for the Port Augusta community to enjoy.
