24.01.2022 Hi there, I jumped onto this lovely little scrape the other day, it's your usual oops.... I kissed the corner of the wall type. We it took me a little while but in the end, I think it came out pretty good. Considering the owner was previously quoted $500 to repair, this certainly didn't cost them that much. Yep, looking so much better than it was.

23.01.2022 Ok so this Merc convertible had been detailed by someone a month ago, by the looks of it, it was more like a year. Car had bad swirls, scratches and pretty much was in bad condition paint wise. Remember if going cheap is what your after, then that's what your going to get. If someone told you they would repaint the entire outside of your home for say, $500, then what kind of result are you going to end up with do you think? Ask the relevant questions of your repairer, experience, qualifications and how it will be repaired. There are by experience, scratches that cannot be simply sanded and buffed out. They require paint. The SSR way.

22.01.2022 Blue cars are just a treat to work on. This Toyota Corolla had a scratch from the edge of the rear door, through to just past the handle on the front door. The scratch filled in pretty well i think. No sanding, just SSR blue and a bit of love.

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Are your lights as bad as these? Here's a piece of info for you, cars headlights have from factory a very thin coating of UV clear on them. Due to the Ozone hole issue we have here, normally after 2- 3 years they break down. Those little cracks that appear on them after clear has been applied, That's the solvent breaking down the plastic. Makes them worse, even to the point of eventually buying new lights. So if you notice often a horizontal line going through the light when they're yellow and cracked, its an indication that's what's happening. Enjoy your weekend.

21.01.2022 Another great repair done today, client had noticed a scrape on the bottom of her front bumper, and wanted it rectifying. And rectified it was. If you have this sort of damage, it can be repaired and it won't cost you the earth.

21.01.2022 I was called into see a customer the other day, and was asked for some advice on the car in the first pic. Someone had tried to remove a scratch from the bootlid, the person sorry to say, couldn't have had alot of spraypainter application knowledge as they would have known that the particular brand model of this car, had very minimal paint on from factory. Hence, they clearly polished through the clearcoat, into the basecoat colour, and down to the primer. That quite clea...rly needs to now be painted. The second and third pictures are a nasty scratch on the bottom of the rear door on a beige Mercedes S300. The scratch was very noticeable and on a $60,000 car, not a pretty sight when your trying to sell it. Quite clearly, you can see that it has been removed with no evidence of being there. And nope, it wasn't sprayed. It was repaired by myself using the Sprayless Scratch Repair system ( SSR ) that is only available to myself here on the Goldcoast. So what'll it be then? First rate repair? Or cheap as chips repair? You decide. 19.01.2022 Sometimes, some people are just in it way over their heads. Whoever did this repair I'm sorry to say really just needs to learn how to do the job that's asked of them. Panel was scraped, and someone turned up to repair it. A load of paint was applied to the scrapes by a person using Turkey baster, ( sorry to say ) and hey presto!!@@?? !! Its done. So the owner called me. Apologies for the dent, unfortunately I don't repair them , only chips and scratches. But look at... the difference once I got on to it. See the difference? See more

18.01.2022 Hi guys, Here's a question for you all. Would you get a carpet cleaner to service your car? No, that's because it's not their trade. Just like a mechanic charged a lady $150 to restore her cars headlights. Oh boy, what a mess. Sanded with what looked like P600 grit sandpaper and had some sort of clear solution wiped over the top. Yes, wiped. It was truly awful. So i got them 100% better and the owner couldn't believe how well they came up. ... Put it this way, the before picture of it was better than it was in person. If your going to get something done, no matter what it is, try to use a qualified professional. That's the difference in quality. See more

You have to hand it to her though, she did a great job on the love heart. Oh well it was a shame to remove it really, but removed it was.

17.01.2022 Another set of headlights that were pretty far gone. The difference in light illumination at night would be so noticeable . Before, youd certainly be struggling to see that Kangaroo in the middle of the road in the dark, not anymore, no way you would miss him now.

10.01.2022 The right rear quarter on this ute had a previous repair done by somebody, who had told the owner that removing these scrapes was easy. All that happened was they tried sanding the scrapes, found they couldnt actually remove them , and then applied ceramic paint protection over the top in order to try fill them up that way. Well that didnt work so well in the end. In one photo you can actually see the sanding marks still left on the panel . There is just no way you can san...d these marks out. So after some very careful application of the SSR colour, it looked 100% better than it did. The owner was so happy as hed been looking at the scrapes on the panel for several months, and due to work restrictions, wasnt looking forward to leaving it for a week at a panel shop. Took an hour. At his home, Thats it, all done. Leaving one very happy owner.

09.01.2022 Have a good look at the first picture. Yep its a scratch, and ? It had apparently been repaired by someone who said they could remove that no problem at all. All they did was sand and buff it. Then, applied paint protection over it. This has not been repaired. So I worked my magic on it ( involving paint ), and its 100% better. Us scratch and chip repairers do just that. We repair them thats our job. Make sure your repair technician is suitably qualified, and you cant go wrong.

08.01.2022 The owner of this Holden Calais had they're car keyed while out last week. The scratch went from the rear quarter all the way down to the front guard. Very lucky for them, whatever had been used to do this hadn't gone too far down into the paint. The scratch was way too deep to be sanded out but not deep enough so that my SSR paint repair system couldn't fix it. It filled up a treat. If you have something similar to this damage, then instead of spending a small fortune on h...aving it painted, give me a call. So in the end, the car was painted, just not using a spraygun. 05.01.2022 This new car had come from Adelaide and had been stored outside for 12 months. Note how oxidised the bonnet is. Clearcoat had lost its brilliance and looked like a satin gloss. The whole car looked like this. After a bit of fancy work, it came up awesome. The new owner couldnt be happier.

02.01.2022 First job on a Monday morning, A grey metallic Toyota Landcruiser. The scratch was down the passenger rear and front doors, and an attempt had apparently been made by a detailer to remove it but to no avail. Job done. If you were to sell this vehicle, either the buyer or the dealer your trading it in to will knock you down. Quite possibly by a few grand. What's your car worth to you? Why have your car's scratches and chips repaired by a scratch repairer ? Because thats what we do.

02.01.2022 The lights on this Mercedes were something quite spectacular, must have been fun driving at night like they were. We turned on the lights halfway through to show the difference it makes in how much your night time lighting is reduced with yellowed headlights. You couldn't even see the bulbs. It now makes the car look new again.

01.01.2022 Well this one was very interesting, ' oh it's easy, take off the paint and just a wipe over". Uhh... no. The scratches went full length of the door and in no way they could simply be polished out. It took awhile, but I got there in the end. You'd be looking at around $800 - $1200 + to paint this. Nope, not even close for what the owner paid in the end for me to repair using my SSR paint repair system. Well cheaper, and the owner went home in it when they finished work. All good.
