One way to do this is to wear colours opposite on the colour wheel. For make-up, the hazel eyed woman can wear violet eyeshadows or eyeliner, while blue-eyed women are best to select a red lipstick or eyeshadows in the rust shades if they have warm colouring. ... Here's what I've learnt: Follow your passion, not someone else's, and your people (your tribe) will come to you. ... It's the person, not the product, that initially people are drawn to for many reasons including personality. Kind of like a relationship but on a professional level! As demonstrated at the recent AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) conference where image consultant colleagues each had and owned their uniqueness and story that attracts different clients. For me, it's specialising in body language and communication, in addition to image, to indulge in a passion and intrigue in human behaviour. 06.01.2022 All three colours can quickly look faded, lacklustre or boring when in anything less than high-quality fabric. This is because each of the colours has a molecular size that causes them to bleed out the fabric quickly. Add to this a cheap cloth and an inferior dyeing process and the results multiply. When purchasing garments in these colours and especially black which is a great basic for most wardrobes, buy good quality items because the dying techniques used will be superior... and you'll get many more wears before the dullness is apparent. A good tip for the cooler months if you tend to buy and wear darker colours. A couple of other tips to consider: Wash the garment inside out and only when necessary. Use a gentle wash cycle. 04.01.2022 Lately I've been asked about the way I wear my tops with jeans.....as someone who's vertically challenged, long tops only highlight it and shorten the legs, as you can see in the first pic below. I could tuck it in but this tip (see second pic) is quick, easy, different, comfortable and I find more flattering as it hides the tummy better especially when bloated for whatever reason.....ahem...like your kid driving you to drink the odd wine or two! You can see the big diffe...rence it makes - I look less frumpy from a shapeless top while flattering my actual figure. And I feel awesome. Note the difference a colourful scarf makes too?
