25.01.2022 CANCELLATION THIS WEEKEND at Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast, we have had to cancel this weekends Wollemi Markets at the Cultural Centre. In order to meet COVID-19 restrictions we are not able to move the markets indoors so have therefore made the difficult decision to postpone the event until December. There are still opportunities this weekend to support our local creatives. The markets have moved to an online platform. Visit www....bluemountainsculturalcentre.com.au/marketplace/ to see work from the amazing local stallholders we had lined up. The live street art painting in Froma Lane will take place throughout the week in the lead up to the weekend. We hope that you can stop by over the next few days and enjoy the work that muralists are creating for our vibrant city. The planned street art tours, and the live performances on Sunday will be rescheduled for another day. We are pleased that some events can go ahead as scheduled. The Virtual Gallery Gigs, featuring local musicians, will go ahead as planned, streamed on the Cultural Centres Youtube channel on Sunday 20 September from 5pm. Go to - https://bit.ly/2RrQMxD For a full updated program of Wollemi events go to our website www.bluemountainsculturalcentre.com #WhatsOnBlueMountains #BlueMountains #Markets #Katoomba #BlueMountainsEvents

23.01.2022 FROM Mid Mountains Festival SADLY....... It is with great disappointment that we announce there will be no Mid Mountains Festival in 2020. We recognise that now, more than ever, the community needs to come together to celebrate, be happy and just enjoy sharing space again, unfortunately the risks posed by COVID at social gatherings are still too great for us to take a chance. The current COVID-19 restrictions have meant we have been unable to hold our annual trivia fundraise...r for the festival. We have also made a conscious decision not to seek sponsorship from local businesses, many of whom are struggling, for an event that may not be able to go ahead. We would like to take a moment to thank all of you who have worked to make the festival such a great event in the past and ask you to hold space to hang out with us again next year. We look forward to being back in 2021 with another day of live music, market stalls, kids activities and all your festival favourites. #WhatsOnBlueMountains #Cancelled #MidMountainsFestival #BlueMountains #COVID19
