23.01.2022 What's on.... BATHURST! Our farmers deserve a night off and WE NEED YOUR HELP to make it happen!... Moodie's Pharmacy have teamed up with BoxGrove and Zoe Cox from Rural Aid to host the Farmers Feast - a night to treat those who feed us. This meaningful event will take place on Saturday evening, the 30th of May 2020. Let's show our farmers and their families what Bathurst does best - support each other when we most need it and we want to do that by treating them to a great meal, a few cold drinks and amazing entertainment. The drought continues to take its toll on our farming community so let's show our resilient men and women of the land that we are here for them. We are still thinking about them. We care about them. Please check out our page 'Farmers Feast' to see how you or your business can help. Besides sponsoring a ticket or a table, ANY other monetary amount no matter how small will be extremely appreciated and can be done in store at Moodie's or via bank deposit (just contact Alex for the details). Another great way you can help is to donate goods or a voucher that can be used as either a lucky door prize on the night, or used as a raffle prize leading up to the event. Please contact Alex at Moodie's if you or your business is in a position to help: Phone: (02) 6331 2955 Email: [email protected] Let's come together and put on a fabulous night to treat those who feed us #whatsonlocally #whatsonlocallyaustralia

If you have children aged 2 to 5 who are still isolating at home, or indeed are looking for something a bit different to watch, check out our videos on Facebook :) #whatsonlocally #whatsonlocallyaustralia

You can count in a suburban backyard, a local park, a patch of forest, down by the beach, or the main street of town. ... In fact, you don't even have to leave home, making it the ultimate Covid-safe activity! To take part all you need is 20 minutes and your favourite outdoor space. Not only will you be contributing to BirdLife Australia's knowledge of Aussie birds, but there are also some great prizes on offer. Head over to the Aussie Backyard Bird Count website and register as a Counter today! https://aussiebirdcount.org.au/ The yearly bird count gives us a snapshot in time of bird numbers around the nation so if you’ve participated before and are raring to go remember the app doesn’t kick in until the count begins on 19 October (one month to go!). #AussieBirdCount #whatsonlocallyaustralia See more
