You will re-live one of the legendary bands and performers of the seventies and eighties, and one band Australians love - Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. Featuring a talented group of musicians dedicated to the task of bringing this era, this sound to the stage for all to enjoy. Mel Lewin as the mysterious Stevie Nicks, Krissy Linehan on keys and vocals is perfect as Christine Mcvie, Wayne Daniels portrays the artistic Song & Guitar man Lindsay Buckingham, Roger Warrior as the Bassist John McVie, Pete Rundle on the keys and the powerful drum sound of Mick Fleetwood, superbly delivered by Andy Marchant. Sharon Hallidayauthor, podcaster, mum, music lover Ive been to a lot of concerts in my 40 years, but the Dreams ShowTribute to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nickswill go down in my books as one of the most memorable. These guys were seriously good. The electric atmosphere was evenly matched by the musicians playing prowess and the singers vocals. As a tribute band, this group is in a league of their own. Julie Knipler Wow,I was blown away with the talent up on stage! You guys were amazing.Thank you for a great night. Rod Upton - My wife and I have seen Fleetwood Mac on several occasions and this band is as good as the real thing. Best $30 you will ever spend! Rodney Maxted - "Awesome gig....best pub band Ive seen since 1982" Shane Brooke - "Was a great atmosphere and probably the best cover band I have seen" Maralyn Callaghan I saw the original band in 1977 in Sydney. The Tribute show really brings back wonderful memories of seeing those amazing individuals bring their talents together to make each and every song performance seem such an easy thing. They were just so good at their craft. Dreams Tribute show are as close as I will come to the real thing again. #whatsonlocally #whatsonlocallyaustralia

13.01.2022 Whats on. Water Security. Its a topic more relevant now than ever with water supply for growing Regional populations under pressure.... Here is a plan devised by Allan Murphy (Ag-Murf Engineering) in conjunction with ILF Consulting (world leader in pipe line design) to provide drinkable water, available in abundant supply in Lake Argyle (northeast West Australia), and pump it to Western NSW, Northern Victoria and South Australia. All that is required are pipe lines and solar powered pump stations. The concept outlined below, Ord2MD (Ord to Murray Darling) sees water from Lake Argyle piped to be stored and distributed to the drought ravaged areas of the Murray Darling Basin utilising existing storage facilities such as Burrendong and Keepit Dams, along with using existing pipeline infrastructure to distribute water to various regions. Lake Argyle is massive. At standard storage levels Lake Argyle holds the equivalent of 21 Sydney Harbours. At full flood containment level Lake Argyle holds 70 Sydney Harbours. Lake Argyle currently feeds the Ord Irrigation Scheme. Even when fully developed, the Ord Irrigation Scheme will only use approximately 0.5% of Lake Argyles stored water. The remaining 99.5% is available for use elsewhere.
