19.01.2022 It is with great sadness, that we learned today of the passing of Robert (Robbie) Unsworth following a very short illness. RIP Robbie.

18.01.2022 President Jim, Lion Andy, Lion Phillip, Lion Nicole, Guest Jerry. 0600 - 1030. 100's of trucks coming together for The Lights On the Hill Convoy which commenced its journey from Volvo Trucks Wacol, to remember all those truck drivers who lost their lives on our roads.

14.01.2022 Ipswich Lions Club had their White Cane Dinner this evening (2nd December) The oldest member of our guests from the Ipswich Vision Impaired Support Group Hazel cut our Christmas Cake while we sang we wish you a Merry Christmas. We had a wonderful night celebrating with our members & friends. A lovely Dinner at the United Sports Club in Ipswich which was organised by Lion Vanna McGreevy. Thank you all those who attended to make our evening special

13.01.2022 Our club lost another member in recent days. Mr Leo McCorry. RIP Leo.

11.01.2022 Our farewells to our fellow Lion Des Connell were said yesterday. This great man was a kind understanding loving person who greeted us all with his happy smile & kind words. Des helped our Lion Cubs & myself with advice to get started & while he was president supported us all in our ventures. Des will b sadly missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family.

09.01.2022 Wrapping Christmas gifts at Bunnings Bundamba. The members of the Ipswich Club even wrapped a BBQ for someone. Great effort guys.

07.01.2022 A big Thank you to Robert & Bunnings Bundamba for asking us to help them with their wrapping service on Thursday. The day was slow but the gold coin donation money we made will go towards helping our community MERRY CHRISTMAS

07.01.2022 A great man has been taken into Gods care. He will remain in our hearts for our life time. He was a gentleman & a gentle soul that’s has been loved & respected by many. RIP Tony.
