24.01.2022 adorable, but probably a falls risk.

24.01.2022 wheatbelt natural beauty.

23.01.2022 Please avoid being barefoot in winter. Please encourage the seniors in your life to invest in some well fitting slippers. Prevent falls, prevent wounds and be clean and comfy

23.01.2022 One of the best gifts you can give yourself or your family is supportive, well fitted footwear.

23.01.2022 Podiatrists are part of the multidisciplinary team, these are wise words. Seen good results, many times.

23.01.2022 Thank you SO much to EVERYONE for your support of my videoconferencing podiatry service this week! It has been INCREDIBLE and may be able to keep my little business going, while I am not able to provide face to face services, I will be back for more after Easter, days available next week are: Tuesday April 14 and Friday April 17. Appointments can be made by PM. You can also email me to request an appointment at [email protected] and for other enquiries. Private healt...h funds are rebating these videoconferences and if you have an up to date care plan from your GP, your consult will be bulk billed. As a resident of a remotely located town in the Dalwallinu Shire, I already have this method of communication and skill set established - its not something new I am trying for Covid-19. The difference is, we now have rebates available for my fee. If you do not have the device to vidoeconference via facetime, whatsapp, fb messenger, zoom (or any other) - ask a family member, friend or carer to help and if that doesnt work you can still get your rebates for a telephone review and email me photos. I look forward to seeing you, or talking to you soon. Yours in optimum foot health, Sally Sanderson. See more

19.01.2022 Nothing starts the work day better than a wheatbelt sunrise after some rain.

18.01.2022 At my workplace today, we were encouraged to spread the updates far and wide. An informed, sensible decision making community is our best strategy.

18.01.2022 Many of the senior citizens I see at work do not use the internet. I am sharing this number with seniors, so they have a place to go with their fears and enquires. Please do the same with the seniors in your life. They dont always like to admit their lack of confidence with accessing websites.

18.01.2022 Had to pull over on the way to Moora, first stunning Australian Christmas tree for 2020. Love my wheatbelt

15.01.2022 Diabetes really is relentless. Support from health care professionals, family and community is vital and continuous.

15.01.2022 Pet Podiatry, cast now off, Friday is walking well. Hope he has learnt not to jump the fences in the sheep yard. #notavet - don’t call me for animals.

15.01.2022 We are now using videocall for videoconferencing. PM, SMS or email me to request an appointment and I will send you a link to enter the waiting room. 13.01.2022 The cutest feet in the Wheatbelt this week - definitely this little fellas- on the path to Wongan Hills Hospital. #thornymountaindevil did you know they can live as long as 20 years and they specialise in eating only ants, with their sticky tongues?

13.01.2022 So Proud to be a staff member at this wonderful workplace #WheatbeltHealthNetwork

12.01.2022 Thank you to our wonderful Podiatrist- Zuh. Like so many covid stories, Zuh has her own. After 7 years of uni (4 years undergrad with honours and 3 years postgraduate Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine), Zuh was very excited to secure her first full time Podiatry job with Wheatbelt Podiatry in the Central Wheatbelt and Schoen Podiatry in the Eastern Wheatbelt. Covid threw everything into a spin (yes we know it was a global thing, but this is about Zuh). Too many details to shar...e.....but in summary Zuh has been an absolute legend! Professional, committed, enduring, empathetic and all round fabulous. All, the while unable to see her family in Singapore Thank you Zuh- we all cherish and appreciate you and I am sure all your patients do too. Merry Christmas and we look forward to 2021 with you continuing your contract @ Wheatbelt Podiatry. Keep smiling that beautiful smile. See more

11.01.2022 An email outlining all of our protocols has been sent to all patients, past and present. Please PM me if you have not received this. We can email or sms protocols to patients, family, carers and friends and we are busy making a plan for phone and video consults. Stay tuned and feel free to PM here if you have a preferred email address and mobile to receive updates. In 2016, I completed a masters dissertation titled: The use of telepodiatry Weve got this.
