24.01.2022 I love Gluten Free on a Shoestring!

21.01.2022 I posted a link to an angel cake recently. I gave it a go today... so far, so good. it doesn’t drop. I plan on filling the centre with berries and topping with cream and berries.

21.01.2022 This looks amazing. I’ve had zero success making a GF sponge, so I might give this a go...

20.01.2022 My son has never had an ice cream cone... have you?

16.01.2022 This recipe doesn’t state wheat tortillas... who is game to give it a go with corn tortillas and give us all a verdict??

16.01.2022 Most of these are, or can be made to be, GF.

11.01.2022 If you are in Australia, I implore you to check out your closest Gluten Free 4 U store!!

11.01.2022 Who loves Leda??

10.01.2022 Freshly made hot cross buns. Mine don't look like the picture in the recipe but they taste pretty good. I think I probably overworked the dough and, thanks to Covid-19, sourcing ingredients is difficult at present and the only GF bread mix I could find was a crusty bread one. So, mine are a little crunchy on the outside but deliciously soft on the inside. Overall, I'm happy with the outcome and grateful to Christine Bailey for her recipe. https://www.christinebailey.co.uk//gluten-free-hot-cross-/

05.01.2022 I have a Thermomix. I love it. It makes cooking so easy, especially when I can grind my own GF flours etc. For those of you in Australia, I spotted this alternative to a Thermomix this morning at my local (Beenleigh, SE QLD) Coles.... I don’t know anything about them, but for the sale price, it would be worth a try.
