13.01.2022 Thank you Arthur for this Hi Blair, Our new life was made so much easier due to the excellent VW Transporter that we purchased from K& M Kite just before we returned home.... The VW transporter had been modified by K&M Kite to make it a wheelchair accessible van (WAV) fitted with a Braun lift at the rear door. Liz had access to the front passenger space with good all round visibility taking back her role of telling me where to go. K&M Kite where extremely professional during the purchasing process and suggested additional modifications to make the van even better. On completion of these modifications the van was delivered to us in Sydney together with the supporting documentation to allow the van to be registered in NSW. The performance of the van has exceeded expectations not only on short trips but on longer trips to Melbourne and beyond taking all of the supporting luggage that a quadriplegic requires. We have recently completed a 100 day round the world trip where we hired a WAV at each place (Pugeot Expert, Citroen Belingo x2, Dodge Caravan x2). These modified vehicles were good but we always wanted one as good as our VW transporter as modified by K&M Kite. We have now driven the vehicle more than twice as far as we expected to use it. I have no hesitation in recommending purchasing a vehicle from K&M Kite. While during the purchasing discussions my main contact was with Blair Kite if I rang up and he was not available others had been briefed about the progress and could answer questions.
