24.01.2022 Just a small update on the new heart. Still got to torque the heads down then tighten everything up but, progress nevertheless :)
22.01.2022 Well, there may be a light at the end of the long tunnel... Just purchased a parts car - 2005 XT Forester 2.5lt turbo auto! Will be stripping down within the next couple of weeks, have a look to see how much is involved into converting over once everything is laid out.... It does require head gaskets which will eventually get done, in amongst this, it’ll be inspected to make sure nothing else is required. It’ll still be a while before she’ll be up and running again but, at least now there is hope.
18.01.2022 Hey everyone, sorry it has been so quite here, poor girl is still out for the count for now. Still has the dreaded bottom end knock, unsure when she’ll see the road again as financial struggles have our priorities focused elsewhere.

02.01.2022 There is something good that comes from the Covid-19 Pandemic, and that’s time to work on the engine! Heads are now bolted down, inlet manifolds on, yet to be bolted down, new equal length headers installed and LH head completely assembled with pretty coloured rocker covers
