23.01.2022 Go hard or go home right? Jase Finlay spins whilst my buddy Mark Clinton Photo & I get up close and personal. When you drive the ski whilst shooting stills, you can manage to get quite close fairly easily because you still have your other hand to throttle / steer the ski. As you can see I need both hands to hold the big Sony FS7 video rig, and it left no room for last minute adjustment. Jase bounced right over the back of the foam rescue sled behind the ski.. eeek! This song & the video below are ultimately all about connection to landscape, something that we were lucky enough to experience first hand thanks to a number of the locals. 01.01.2022 Life at 2100m ASL with @luke_oconnor recently. This is one of those trips I wish we could do more often. We'd slogged all morning uphill to set up camp here. With a 5 minute skin to amazing lines in every direction, the kind of stuff you wouldn't think even exists here in Aus. it was worth every climbing moment with the heavy packs. Being on the western side of the range means that clouds just come out of nowhere and you can go from a perfect bluebird day to this in minutes!
