08.01.2022 Remembering Brett Dennis Hi all, this Sunday the 15th we will be holding a Memorial Ride in honour of Brett Dennis who passed away in Canberra on 22 September,... aged 45. Brett was one of Australia's great cyclists who was born and grew up in Mount Isa until moving down south to be become a valued member of the AIS Cycling team. There is to much to say about Brett to try and squeeze it all into a brief post so on Sunday all cyclists are being asked to meet up at the front of the Outback at Isa at 8:00 am. Following a short ride of fifteen or twenty kilometres we will return to the Outback at Isa park where refreshments will be available. His Mum and Dad will join us in a celebration of his life. There will be a few tears shed but also laughter as you hear of some of the antics of this larrikin from the Isa. A larrikin by the way who, no matter where he was in the world, always replied when asked where he was from always told them 'The Isa'.
