14.01.2022 PLEASE HELP Do you know where Koby is? ***UPDATE*** ... Police have found the body of a man missing from Jindabyne. The 19-year-old man was last seen about 1am on Friday (17 July 2020). He was reported missing to officers from Monaro Police District who commenced a search. About 12pm today (Sunday 19 July 2020), the body of a man was found at Jindabyne. He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be the missing man. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner. Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance. MISSING MAN - JINDABYNE Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Jindabyne. Police say 19 year old Koby Mitchell was last seen leaving a hotel in Jindabyne, about 1am on Thursday 16 July 2020 and has not been seen since. The mans car has been located locked and secured at a campground on the Alpine Way. Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as he is usually in regular contact with relatives. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 183cm tall, with slim build, shaggy blonde/brown hair and a short brown beard. Koby was last seen wearing black snow overalls, a white jumper and no shoes. Anyone who has seen Koby or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police. : NSW Police Force
