24.01.2022 Thank you so much to Lauren for designing this gorgeous logo for WATA!!! Lauren is an amazing artist who has been chipping away at a WATA logo and has kept me in the loop every step of the way. I think she has done an incredible job! If you need an artist, i thoroughly recommend Lauren. Not only did she do an amazing job drawing the logo but she is extremely easy to work with and will make changes to designs and drawings without hesitation or complaint. Thanks again Lauren! I really appreciate all the work you put into this project!

19.01.2022 Hi everyone! Thank you for being so patient with me while ive been in recovery. My back has begun improving considerably and i am feeling much better but i still have to be very careful with how much i do so all of the cats and kittens are still in foster care except for Genie who has remained with me as she was still recovering from her illness too. But good news.... Genie has finally recovered and has been out of isolation for a couple of weeks now. Next week i will be booking her into the vet to start her 2 vaccination doses again. Once she has had both of her doses, she will be available for adoption so please keep an eye out in a month for her ‘ready for adoption’ post if you are interested in adopting beautiful Genie.
19.01.2022 This morning i went to Hectorville to pick this lovely girl up and took her to the vets as she has a severe case of mange. She has bald patches on the her neck, head, ears, legs and back. She isnt microchipped. She was tested for FIV because quite often when cats have mange it is because their immune system is low. Thankfully the result came back negative. She was treated for the mange and will have two more treatments over the next month and if nobody claims her, she will be... placed up for adoption after she has been desexed etc and has recovered from the mange. Holly has been feeding her for quite a few months. The cat disappeared for a couple of months and then came back with the mange. Holly has said she would like to adopt her once she is ready and isnt sure if she will name her Trixie or Tilly just yet. We wish this pretty girl a speedy recovery and hope all of her fur grows back. See more
18.01.2022 Happy home update - such a pretty girl Cleo is!
17.01.2022 Happy home update - Tofu aka Forge Ghost aka Mr Grey... Thank you Elyse! These photos really did make me smile!! Ghost has come such a long way since he was trapped and rehomed. He has learned that not all humans are scary and now trusts his Mum and Dad a whole lot more. He doesnt seek out to be patted but when his Mum and Dad seek him out, he really loves the pats and attention. Elyse has worked extremely hard to get him to this point and im so grateful to her for it. For a long time, she was only able to touch him while she fed him and he would go and hide as soon as he had finished eating. She contacted me a few months ago asking for help and i went over to her house with cat treats and offered suggestions. Im so grateful she listened to my advice and continued to work with him. He still isnt keen on the kids but that’s ok. Forge was adopted so the kids could have cuddles and Forge delivers the cuddles as well as making friends with Ghost.
17.01.2022 Happy home update - Pollyanna loves her food and is finally gaining weight! This makes me so happy!

12.01.2022 Happy home update - i was lucky enough to get Scooter cuddles again yesterday! Bec took him to the vet yesterday and he had a steroid injection because his eye must be super itchy after his surgery and every time Bec removes his cone, Scooter scratches it until his fur comes out and he gets red raw. He cant live with his cone forever so hopefully this treatment works for him. I love that he and rotty Lilly are now best friends!
11.01.2022 A simple video with a powerful message. Please share.
11.01.2022 Happy home update - Paddy doesnt leave Dylan’s side. He loves his little human.
09.01.2022 I took this precious girl to the vet on Thursday and she was given the all clear thankfully. Her gingivitis has cleared up and it was the probable cause for the infection she had which has cleared up too. She received her vaccination and the booster is due in a month and then beautiful Genie will be available for adoption.
06.01.2022 I received a surprise message this morning that Mumma Cat had some babies last night. She has had 4 so far. I wasnt expecting any kittens from her for weeks yet. Congratulations Mumma Cat! You had your final litter of kittens off the streets in a much comfier environment in foster care. You wont have to go through this time and time again, year after year. I cant wait to meet your babies!
05.01.2022 Hi everyone - another Mina update. Mina went back into hospital this morning and was put back on fluids. Her blood test results came back all clear. The girls did an amazing job taking in the healthy kittens and 2 Mum’s and vaccinated them throughout the morning when they had spare moments. I can only praise the girls at Modbury for all they are doing because they are super busy and fitting my babies in when they could easily say to me that they cant do anything because they ...are fully booked - and they are fully booked up! After receiving the blood test back and it showing that there wasnt anything suspicious going on, i decided to call on Dr Garry to get his opinion. He also went above and beyond letting me come with Mina even though he was fully booked up too. Mina was tested for mycoplasma and coccidia and both tests came back negative. He gave her another dose of antibiotics and vitamins. He believes it is probably Fading Kitten Syndrome the babies have been suffering from but also gave me a bottle so we can run a faecal test. It appears that she is now backed up though as she couldnt go when she tried. I will try and sort this issue out tonight. I do have some good news though and that is that when i got her home, she actually ate some food on her own and purred very loudly during the process. Im hoping she is at a turning point and through the worst of it! She didnt eat much on her own but it is a start! See more
02.01.2022 Just a little update - for those that dont know, i have been bed bound for over 2 weeks due to bulging discs in my back. I have been on some very strong pain killers and have had a couple of trips in the ambulance to emergency screaming in pain. A lot of the cats i have been looking after went into foster care. The cats still at home and I have been taken care of by friends and family. I am seeing gradual improvements and things are getting better day by day. As a result of... everything that has happened, i decided to put the September raffle on hold as i have been getting between 2.5 and 5 hours of sleep each night and the pain killers can make me very drowsy. I didnt want to make any mistakes with raffle tickets and money. The raffle will recommence in October and im hoping by then the runnings of the charity will be returned to normal as well. Thank you to everybody who has been involved in helping me throughout this difficult time! See more
