02.01.2022 The Dalmore Valour This new arrival for duty free stores has been matured in a mix of two types of first fill ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso Sherry butts, then finished in port pipes from the Douro region in Portugal.... Tasting Notes Nose: Anzac biscuits, toffee, and that nostalgic warmth of Christmas cake often found in other Dalmore expressions. Palate: Oaky and rich, with treacle and chocolate. Bright notes of barely shine through, despite the bold influence of the port finish, which seems to carry the richer flavours back and forth across the palate. Finish: long and warm, with a dollop of plump raisins and cinnamon spice.
