22.01.2022 Australia’s drought and fires have caused so much devastation and uncertainty for so many and we have know we are not alone in our plight. They have forced a dramatic increase in surrenders and calls for help over the last year, which pushed us to capacity towards the end of 2019 and stopped us from being able to take-in more horses...which breaks our hearts. We spend so much of our time helping others, that it’s time for us to now plead for help. Our amazing carers have been... experiencing horrendous circumstances across Qld and NSW, with many severely drought impacted and the rest having lost paddocks or worse in fires. We now need to begin relocating some of our horses from their current carers who have found themselves in terrible situations. Transporting them isn’t cheap so we are relying on your help, please. We have received and turned away 9 urgent surrender requests in the past 24 hours alone! We simply do not get enough support to be able to afford to help them.
