10.01.2022 Here we go!! Exciting times with our G block Shiraz going through veraison Can’t wait to see what vintage 2021 has in store for us ... Adam Hay

10.01.2022 Flowering has started here on the property... Riesling leading the way This stage of the process will determine what yields we will get for vintage 2021 @adamhaylc80

09.01.2022 Is there anything better than the smell of new French oak barrels? We think not. Happy Saturday @adamhaylc80

09.01.2022 FEEL GOOD MOMENT Last year, shortly after the devastating Cudlee Creek fires in the Adelaide Hills, we put together a silent auction to help raise funds for the local Onkaparinga CFS. 2 extremely generous customers donated a combined amount of close to $15,000 for our two rare 2012 Reserve Shiraz Jeroboams.... We were simply blown away, as were the members of the Onkaparinga CFS group! Before this they did not have any thermo imaging cameras to help detect underground fires and also the hottest part of structural fires. With the funds raised they were able to buy 9 brand new cameras which will help save not only lives but also animals, vineyards and family homes. Let’s hope these cameras don’t need to be used this year Cheers - Sam

09.01.2022 MICHAEL J. CORBETT We think it’s about time to introduce the newest member of the Whistler team. MJC (as we like to call him) is our new head winemaker and has been for a few months now.... Some of you may recognise that solid beard & sizeable smile. Along with making Whistler Wines, he has his own brand in @vanguardistwines - do yourselves a favour and check it out! To say MJC has a diverse wine background is putting it lightly. 26 vintages across 13 regions in 4 countries to be exact. Some brands he’s worked with are, but not limited to - Te Mata Estate (NZ), Tyrrells (Hunter Valley) and Francois Lurton (Roussillon, France). He is a self diagnosed Grenache fanatic, but loves making a vast range of wines and styles, which suits us perfectly. We are pretty excited about what Michael brings to the team and can’t wait to splash some of his wines in your glass. Cheers mate, welcome on board! - Sam & The Pfeiffer Family

08.01.2022 What’s this? 1. We have some new merch on the way.... 2. We have a new wine on the way....... Can you guess what the wine is.... It starts with Pet and finishes with Nat Stay tuned.... very limited

05.01.2022 The weather lately has been perfect for a cold bottle of wine & a cheese platter on our lush lawn area Name a better way to wrap up 2020... Il wait. @samkroepschphotography

05.01.2022 The gift that keeps giving

04.01.2022 Is this Rose weather or what No matter what day it is, when it’s above 30 degrees & sunny, this is a favourite @adamhaylc80

04.01.2022 Rain + Sun results in some serious growth out in the vineyard this time of year! What will this Semillon block produce in 2021? Only time will tell

04.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone We hope you’re enjoying plenty of wine, food and laughs with friends and family! Cellar door will be back open tomorrow (Boxing Day) 10:30am-5pm... Cheers - The Pfeiffer’s

03.01.2022 It’s not your ‘normal’ cellar door welcome! Sally’s new orphan Kangaroo, Ringo, is settling in nicely. If you’re lucky he might be hopping around while you taste our wines

02.01.2022 We only close 4 days a year here at Cellar Door.... those days are fast approaching! Please note these closures if you plan on visiting and have a safe & happy Christmas

02.01.2022 We are heartbroken to hear about the loss of Taras Ochota - @ochotabarrels He was an amazing inspiration for alternative & unique winemaking styles. His memory will live on through many small wine brands throughout this country ... Thoughts are now with his family.

01.01.2022 It’s always great to check out some new wineries in our neighbourhood. A few of us took the morning off to immerse ourselves in all things @alkinawine - such a unique experience and can highly recommend. Congratulations guys.... - Sam
