A big congratulations to #227 Hunter Penhallurick on his 2 250cc junior QLD titles he has picked up over the weekend. 10 wins from 10 races and all with his wrist cut out of a cast on Friday after a crash in practice a few weeks earlier. Top bloke and an awesome rider well done mate!!!!

08.01.2022 The committee has made the descision due to lack of water left in our dam to get in a 20 tonne digger and dig out the dam to get the most water capacity available for the future. If any members or friends can help out this weekend with a tip truck to help move dirt around the track that would be most appreciated. Thankyou to Blake Berry Civil for offering his big digger and tip truck for a discounted rate to get the job done. We felt this was the best opportunity to increa...se our water capacity and look forward to good rain in the near future to fill it up and allow us to prepare and maintain the tracks. 07.01.2022 Winners are grinners!!!!!! Well done again Hunter Penhallurick #227 Awesome effort from several WDR members also at QLD titles over the weekend. Harry Maxwell hold your chin up mate things didn’t go all your way, though you fought hard and managed a few heat wins with not much luck in the finals. You are a great role model to the young guys who look up to you and admire you. Well done Shanyne Crowhurst ,Joe Barton and Samantha Eerde mixing it with the big guns you all ro...de really well all weekend. Kai Moran champion effort buddy you got faster and faster all weekend and your confidence grew with every race coming away with 7th overall super proud dad here Jordan Peck and Ljay Barton well done for your first state titles you guys are riding well and also got faster as the weekend went on. keep it up boys Rampaging Ron Draper you are and inspiration to all, seeing you out there mixing it with the young guys (over 40s) and bouncing back up after a rare mistake on the dog leg we hope you are resting up and taking it easy. We also had the Gilroy girls Scarlett and Siarra down at Rocky who both had a successful weekend fighting it out against the boys in MX. We have WDR crew racing MX at the Retreat and also in Rockhampton for the King or maybe Queen (Go Girls)of the Capricorn and also at the QLD Dirt track titles in Ayr on Saturday and Sunday. Get up to Brandon Raceway for some awesome racing if you haven’t planned anything you will not be disappointed.
