16.01.2022 Now the leftovers are gone, we’re back at work! If you’re due for you regular check up, or had too many candy canes, call us to make an appointment.

04.01.2022 Hi All, Things are changing very quickly out there. In accordance with the decision of the Federal Cabinet we will not be able to provide routine dental treatment for the foreseeable future. We will be calling all of our patients with appointments to make alternate arrangements as some of you may still need to be seen.... We are not closing and we are still here for you. We will be available to provide emergency care in accordance with the guidelines. If you have any dental concerns, even if it is not painful, please call us. Please also call us if you or a loved one if having problems with a denture. In line with the directives of the Federal Cabinet and NSW State Government people should be staying home. For the time being we will not be accepting walk-in appointments, but if you have a problem, we will be able to see you but please call. We may not always have a receptionist at the practice but our phone will divert to a mobile (assuming an IT poltergeist doesn’t start playing silly games). Our receptionists will try to triage you over the phone, however ultimately the dentist will have to make the decision about what can and can’t be done. For patients who usually attend another practice, we will be able to see you and can organise to provide a record of any emergency care to your regular dentist. For our staff, we are continuing to take measures to keep our staff safe and employed so that when we come out of hibernation we’re a little like this bear. Stay safe everyone!

01.01.2022 Hi All, there is quite enough doom and gloom out there at the moment so we will do our best to not add to it, but I did want to share this graph as it shows the absolute importance of social distancing. Many people would be pretty happy with 70% in a difficult exam, some might not be happy with it but would accept it. If we accept 70% with this current 'test', on these numbers, we are going to fail dismally and people we know will get sick and some people we know will die. B...ut that doesn't have to happen. We need 8 or more people out of 10 to maintain social distancing at all times. When you include all of the people who are providing the so-called essential services and who can't do so from home, it doesn't leave much room for error. Please everyone, think twice before going out. If you have to go out think very carefully about how you do it. The quicker we do this, the quicker this problem goes away. There is no doubt that our economy is going to take a beating and we are going to need to work hard to fix it, but we can't fix it till we get through the medical side of it first. We can't get through the medical side until we flatten the curve and we can't do that unless probably 100% of everyone who doesn't have to man an in-person essential service stays at home. As stressful as this situation is going to be, we should all try and find the positives in it as insurmountable as that may be at times. For many people it is an opportunity to spend time with our immediate family and those closest to us. It is an opportunity to pick up a hobby, read a book, or to just take a break from the day to day grind. We will absolutely get through this and it will be hard.
