13.01.2022 Monstera Adansonii var laniata? This sought after aroid is a delight to grow, It likes moist well drained soils. Great in a basket, climbing up a totem or hanging down over your furniture. put it on your patio or in the living room, it is very attractive in any environment. Fertilize with slow release fertilizer following the manufacturers recommendations. The Monstera is one of a very limited number of plants with leaf fenestration (holes in their leaves.) The natural en...vironment of the monstera is growing up a tree with very little sunlight available. To cope with this very limited light supply the plant develops fenestration to allow the plant to spread the leaf surface over a larger area to increase the chance of catching more of the rare sunlight filtering through the tree canopy. This ability to cope with very low light makes the Monstera a priced indoor and patio specimen. We have a limited number available to visitors to this page for only $45. Some really easy to grow species flower all year. Our bees are struggling at the moment for food and water. Have you made your bee watering station yet. See below.
