All information provided here is also on our website.. wssdca.org.au For ease of access to information for many questions asked about our breed we encourage discussion on this page. As the longest-standing WSSD breed club in Australia we want all owners and potential owners to have easy access for care and advice. Due to the increase in backyard breeding of dogs not upgraded for breeding or ha...ving undergone health checks we advise the following: These are the WSSDCA rules for a litter to be registered with our club. The parents must have WSSDCA pedigrees (not their parents papers) eg. Verification by microchip (view their vaccination card and their pedigree) Verification can be made to the club secretary for advice of litter plans. Our current registered breeders are listed on our website: wssdca.org.au New breeders and details can be obtained from our Registrar - [email protected] Dogs registered with our Club must be upgraded for breeding BEFORE they are mated. They must undergo hip/elbow xrays and have their results assessed. Health tests including MDR1, DM and others must be completed and results given to the Club registrar. Under our Club a dog with DM affected result cannot be bred. It will NOT be upgraded for breeding. The owners must be registered with the Club and have a kennel name registered or applied for. On the pedigree is printed their health test results (see example) On the pedigree is printed that the dog/bitch is APPROVED FOR BREEDING (see example) If the pedigrees do not have these printed, please contact the club for clarification. If the dogs you are looking at are ANKC registered, the breeder will provide their pedigree papers and for more information you can look up breeders on Dogzonline.com.au or contact your relevant state body eg dogsqueensland, dogswest, dogssa. Do your homework and research before you commit to purchasing one of our beautiful breed.

02.01.2022 Whites Unite day at Gympie was wonderful. 7 White Swiss Shepherds and a few visitors during the day. The rain held off to make a perfect day for us. Lots of tired boys and 1 girl. We had Boz ( is dad to) Rex, Casper, Archie, and Acheron, as well as Maison and our 1 girl Lace.
