03.01.2022 E X C I T I N G A N N O U N C E M E N T! A word or two from us to you about our future Good-Bye from Danny and Sue... Hello to Jim and Rachel FROM DANNY AND SUE Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 15 years. It's been a pleasure having you at our little joint here in beautiful Scarborough! As mentioned in previous posts, our Chef son Jim White and his wife Rachel have joined us, and have created their Breakfast and Lunch Café. Up to now, we have been serving Tapas and Dinner of an evening on weekends. BUT THAT IS ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE! From December, we are handing the reins over to Jim and Rachel who wish to create something of their own on Friday and Saturday nights as well. But more about that from Jim and Rach below. We moved to Scarborough ourselves at the end of last year after downsizing from our family home at Kippa-Ring, and look forward to seeing you at Jim and Rachel’s White Fusion Café and Tapas Bar from the OTHER side of the Bar and Kitchen! Cheers from Danny and Sue White FROM JIM AND RACH Firstly, we would like to thank Danny & Sue for helping us make our vision come to life! We are so excited to be starting this new journey as business owners with the support of the Redcliffe Peninsula community. We will still be offering our same great breakfast & lunch menu that you all love, as well as an amazing NEW Tapas & Cocktail Menu. We’ll be having live music on Friday evenings that you can enjoy while having a drink out on the terrace, or inside in air-conditioned comfort. We hope to create a space where you can come & relax after the work week is done! We will also be growing our ‘Gift Shop’ side of things. Michael (Rachel’s Dad) and his wife Catherine are the owners of Bowlutiful Indoor Plants and Laser Engraving. They are coming on board to work alongside us in the café. You’ll finally get to meet the people that create all these beautiful plants & laser engraved products. We cannot wait for you to see all the exciting changes we have planned for White Fusion Café and Tapas Bar! We hope to see you all soon! Jim & Rach White
