23.01.2022 It's not often that I post a full album of highlights but I just loved this wedding so much and really wanted to share it with you all. My hope is that I've captured the pure joy that was felt on the day. Bonus shots of the MAGICIAN they hired. He was so great! What a cool idea to entertain your guests at the reception.

22.01.2022 Michael & Jade had the most magical wedding day yesterday at Coolibah Downs Private Estate. We thought it would storm all day and then the heavens parted and we were blessed with bright blue skies for the ceremony! If that's not a sign that these two were meant to be, then I don't know what is! Congratulations guys!!

19.01.2022 If you’re anything like me, your phone is probably full of images like the top photo. I’ve been a photographer for 11 years and I still love and use my phone camera probably more than I do my big girl camera! So this post is no hate to the phone selfie. I think they have a purpose and serve us well. However, for me the sheer convenience of it just makes it too easy to pass up and so I find myself rarely taking proper portraits of my family. We’ve only had 3 family portrait se...ssions in almost 15 years! This week I photographed the Hold family. Vikky is a photographer herself and we’ve known each other a long time. I first photographed her engagement session (some of you may remember the old piano in the field epic) & wedding and I’ve since gone on to photograph her growing family each year. Vikky is so organised she always contacts me months in advance to make sure we can fit their session in around the same time of the year. She’s even turned the little tradition into an opportunity for an annual family holiday as well! She has taught me how important it is to document these milestones of our families and to do it well. For her efforts she has collected a series of beautiful (if I do say so myself!) portraits of her family growing and changing. I’m sure she’d tell us that these photos are absolutely priceless to her now. With her permission I’ve shared this comparison photo as a little lesson for us all. Vikki took the top photo right before our session began. Yes, our phones are great, convenient little tools but they really just don’t compare at all to a beautiful, professional portrait. What do you guys think?

16.01.2022 Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the gorgeous baby Leila at her christening. She is absolutely adorable and seeing her with her big brother Jamie was just the cutest. Check out those facial expressions!

16.01.2022 We LOVE shooting weddings of clients we've met at other weddings. We were introduced to Gemma & Rod at Nakita & Paul's wedding in Casuarina last year. Straight away we knew that their wedding was going to be tonnes of fun. They were super keen to have a relaxed environment for their wedding and it really paid off. We spent the day laughing and enjoying ourselves with all their guests and we left feeling like one of them. The true mark of a great day! Congratulations guys!

10.01.2022 Who remembers these two beautiful faces? Since their stunning country wedding they've introduced a new member of the family to the world! Here's gorgeous baby Tully with her Daddy who is due to leave for Iraq really soon and her amazingly strong Mumma. It's such an emotional time and during the shoot we captured lots of really special moments between them all. Wishing you all the very best of luck on your tour Damian and to you Samantha as you hold down the fort at home. Godspeed <3

05.01.2022 Each year I get the privilege of capturing the Hold family. Last year Vikky was pregnant with their second baby boy and this year I got to meet little Emmett! Thanks for always trusting me with your portraits guys. It's an honour!

03.01.2022 Little Arlo arrived into the world a bit earlier than expected so his start was a little rough, poor guy. He spent over a week in hospital but as soon as he got home his Mama was determined to have me capture him while he was still tiny. She never got the chance with her first and she'd always regretted it - they don't stay this little for long! Now she'll always have these images to remember her little boys and I'm a bit proud of that. We even managed to get a cheeky little smile!
