21.01.2022 Sadly we say a very premature goodbye to our Assistant Managers Wendy and George. One last sunset pic from Wendy - thanks. See you on the flip side. Safe travels.

20.01.2022 These guests timed it right...

20.01.2022 Looking particularly nice tonight in the Park. Photo from the beach in comments too..

19.01.2022 What a great opportunity to go on this fantastic cruise. We have had many guests go on the Tasman island cruise and everyone has rated it as FANTASTIC..just as we do. Great discounts for you to give it a go.

18.01.2022 Okay who has been talking about our piece of paradise? Was it you !!! We have been busy taking summer bookings - mostly from people who have had heard about us from a friend or family member. So just a warning if you or your family want to come stay with us over the summer school holidays or any of the public holidays including up to next Easter - you will need to think about booking now. Xmas-New Year is pretty near fully booked already. We don't require the deposit until later in the year so don't wait any longer. Flick us an email [email protected] telling us what you need - powered or unpowered, what you are putting on the site (type and size) and number of guests - adults / children.

18.01.2022 Weather report looking good for this weekends...still got a few spots left....

18.01.2022 What a day. Lucky us at White Beach. Sites and cabins available over weekend. Give us a call tomorrow and book in.

18.01.2022 THINGS ARE CHANGING RAPIDLY... WE WILL BE ADVISING MORE SOON. We are still open for business. With all the overseas and interstate cancellations we now have vacancies at Easter. Cabins are self contained. If caravanning and camping you will be aware we are already well known for having very clean facilities and we are of course following all guidelines in doing more sanitising and cleaning in shared amenities. All we ask is that you do not come to the Park if unwell and eve...ryone follows the hygiene advice to keep everyone as safe as possible. We have had to cancel activities planned ..Easter Bunny visit, movies, crafts etc but if you need a break relax on the 2km of beach right at your doorstep or do one of the many walks around the Peninsula. COME DOWN FOR AIR. See more

18.01.2022 And just like that we are OPEN. We have sites and cabins available. Must book before turning up. Looking for economical option...Standard Cabins $85 pn 1-2 people. Children $10 each first night..then free. So 2 nights for a couple with 2 kids would be $190. ... No we are not crazy..we just missed you ! See more

17.01.2022 It appears we may be allowed to open earlier than June 15th. Please wait until we follow up this news. We will need clarification on use of shared amenities etc before taking bookings as restrictions will apply. Note.. no dogs.

14.01.2022 Just had a bit of thunder and lightening but what a nice day we had..sunset not bad either..

14.01.2022 Are you down our way on Show Weekend? Great cause so if staying on the Park come and hit us up for your walk sponsorship.

13.01.2022 Beautiful Spring day here at White Beach Tourist Park. Guests are down on the beach or out and about...so much to see on the Peninsula. Remember we have kept our low winter rates right through till mid October. You deserve a break.

13.01.2022 Excellent news for us and our guests....another coffee and food option and such an easy walk from our Park. No car needed!

12.01.2022 Good to see access to Remarkable Cave is upgraded and open...

12.01.2022 Just a heads up that over the next 3-4 weeks we will be retiling the showers in the Male Block. In the meantime our Female facilities will be made Unisex... available to all guests. Covid Rules apply as per Govt guidelines.Social distancing and maximum guest numbers in shop, camp kitchen and amenities etc.

11.01.2022 Check out the Tasmania Parks ..Thanks Urbanlist.. we love White Beach too https://www.theurbanlist.com/a/best-caravan-parks-australia

11.01.2022 Thanks to Fiona for last night's sunset pic. Stunning.

11.01.2022 Nice day for a walk.

10.01.2022 Two faces of our beach just now. Had a lot of wind lately and the sea has given up lots of weed...

10.01.2022 Mark this in your calendar - 15 JUNE 2020. That is the day (all going well in Tasmania) we can reopen. Things are not normal and will not be so for many months to come. While we cannot wait to see everyone back here there are going to be restrictions and we will be following all instructions from the relevant Authorities and expect our guests to do the same. This is to protect us, our staff, other guests and the residents of the Tasman Peninsula (to date we have not had a...ny cases in this area). If intending to stay with us - you will need to contact us before arriving. We have to keep track of numbers and ensure we can give everyone the spacing needed. We expect you will not visit if you, or anyone travelling with you, has symptoms or should be quarantining. We expect you to adhere to all Government health advice as to hygiene and social distancing/gathering numbers while on our premises. We will do our bit - we already are known to be a very clean park but from the start of this virus, before we were closed by Government Regulation, we had reviewed and increased our cleaning regimes/sanitising and when we reopen we will continue to do all we can to lessen risks. We will have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place. Obviously all Tourism Businesses, as ours, have taken a hit and without overseas tourism it is not going to be back to normal for a long time. But we acknowledge you have had it tough too. We have decided not to increase pricing this coming Summer. We already have reasonable off peak pricing but are currently working on even better deals to try and make it more affordable for you and your family to get away. This will include July and September school holidays. So in conclusion - all going well we will start seeing guests again from 15 June - feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or wish to book. Press "send email" on this page or send an email to [email protected]

10.01.2022 Where did all the happy kids go? End of the school holidays and we had a great bunch of families in. Even though the weather was not always great everyone seemed to be able to make the most of their break and so many of you are already planning on coming back. Always good to hear laughter in the park. Thank you to all our guests for choosing our park.

10.01.2022 After some horrid weather the last few days today was magnificent. Sunset to match.

09.01.2022 This is a great offer..

09.01.2022 Update..a week later..photo in comments.. Gotta love nature! Like most of Tassie our beach got hammered with two days of sustained high winds and look what was dragged in... the most down our end of beach we have seen here in 4 years. Most wouldn't want our usually beautiful beach shown like this but it is fascinating how nature will get on and deal with this. I will put another pic up in a week.

09.01.2022 We have instructions for our industry. "People who are staying at caravan parks in Tasmania have until 11.59 pm Sunday 29 March to depart the state Where people live permanently in caravan parks, campsites or caravans or are staying in caravan parks, campsites or caravans as an interim abode, where their primary residence is not available, they may continue to do so"... Sadly, but understandably, no holidaying/non essential travel until this is over. We therefore have no choice but to cancel all those booked in to arrive after 29th March and we will be contacting those concerned in the next few days. We do not have people permanently living here. Interim abode: If from another State and are having to wait for your ferry date to return home you may be able to stay in a Park while you wait. Contact us to enquire as there are restrictions. This is not intended to allow you to continue your holiday but instead give you a "home" until you can leave the State. Non essential travel rules also apply just as it does with all those permanently living in this State. Any queries on our Park phone or email.

09.01.2022 Lovely morning here at White Beach. It has been a good weekend. Weather fine..sunny and cool. The strong wind stayed away. Nice. Thanks to all our guests for respecting the Covid restrictions we have in place. Did you see the whales out in the Bay Saturday?

09.01.2022 End of a long weekend..another sunset gift...

08.01.2022 Hope you are all doing well. Beautiful day here in our deserted campground. Thought I would take you all down to the beach..the Happy Place for so many of us.

08.01.2022 Wind dropped off. Seaweed disappearing off beach. Sun came out. Beach looking good. Counting the days?..weeks? till you all come back.

06.01.2022 Cannot think of a better way to start the day than a walk on White Beach. Unusually low tide meant Brother and Sister Islands were joined together.

06.01.2022 We are testing out what it like to be our guests as we are usually too busy over Summer/Autumn. Went for walk to Cape Raoul and Shipstern Bluff lookouts..now back at home base enjoying the last of a stunning day. Wow what a good day. Definitely recommend it. One month to go people ..hang in there.

06.01.2022 One month to go (all going well in Tassie)..if it makes you feel a little better you didnt miss much in last 6 weeks ..weather very average indeed. Probably worst weather for March/April we have had in our 4 years here. But today is lovely and surely will be more to come..maybe has just been waiting for you? Ps check out the night pic in comments.. taken just now

06.01.2022 Beautiful day and ta da..drum roll.. new easy to use taps and tiling finished in showers. New toilets installed. Male Amenity block finished and now open.

05.01.2022 It is a beautiful day..again.. in White Beach. Reminder we are OPEN with our very reasonable pricing and clean facilities. Please book before arrival. Phone 0362502142 or email [email protected] and check availability, best pricing and booking a "fire friendly" site (off ground firepots considered until mid October)

05.01.2022 June 5th from 3pm we are open. You all know the drill by now when it comes to COVID-19 restrictions and hygiene. We need you to know we take the safety and health of our staff, local community and guests very seriously and will be firm in following the directions set by the appropriate Government authorities. If you are unwell - showing symptoms or if you are in quarantine for any reason - STAY HOME. ... Of course, as we have all learned, things can change in a heartbeat but for now... You MUST prebook to ensure we have space for you. We must have name and contact details. To ensure correct spacing some facilities may not be available. Toilets/Shower Blocks will be open but we will be limiting number of guests in there at any one time. Note during our regular heavy clean - between 10 and midday - the amenity area not being clean will be available as a Unisex facility. At this stage we believe we can open the kitchen (limit numbers) but this may change so be prepared. Same as bbqs. We have a COVID-19 plan in place to cover extra cleaning and sanitising etc We will have signage to help keep you safe however it is also up to you to do your part. If visiting our Park you must adhere to Public Health instructions - social distancing - no more than 20 in one gathering - good hygiene (bring personal sanitiser as if you were at home going in and out to visit public places/playgrounds etc) No pets Fires - firepots off the ground (sand underneath) are okay but only on certain sites - request a "fire okay" site if booking. Bring own firepit . We have some firepits here but you will need to book one. Own wood must be supplied (Annuals - dig out your firepits - okay now till mid October) We will not be having a large communal fire due to gathering/distancing restrictions. Remember if riding bicycle or scooters in Park - must wear a helmet

05.01.2022 Well today we celebrate. It is one year since we took over the business of White Beach Tourist Park (after managing since 2016). Nice timing huh! We have no regrets ..lots of happy guests, plenty of laughs, great staff, unforgettable sunsets and that magnificent beach. What is not to love? Yep times are tough/different for everyone at present but it will pass. In the meantime we thank you all for your... continued support. See more

05.01.2022 If you are down here on 22nd August why not get a group together and support this local quiz night. Was so much fun last year.

04.01.2022 So good to see people back in the Park and kids laughing and playing in the playground. Thank you for supporting us. We will continue to help you to get away by offering our low Winter rates to mid October...including July and September school holidays...Powered site 1 or 2 people $25pn. Children $7pn ( if you have kids and staying more than one night we have some specials for you ) Until mid October we have sites where you can use a firepot. Bookings are essential. (We have great deals on cabins too).

04.01.2022 Long weekend coming up. We still have some spots and at our winter pricing. We will have movies in Event room each evening and marshmallow roasting at communal fire if weather co-operates. Off the ground firepots are allowed on many of our sites over winter (check if ok when booking). Worried about the weather? Cabins..self contained cabins (heatpump and gas hot water now in all our cabins) from $95pn 2 people. Got kids? Two adults two children from $115pn. Call or email us now to check availability.

04.01.2022 In the next days/weeks we expect more changes in restrictions on travel/stay home will be announced. We are now making some really tough decisions not only for the health and safety of guests but also the local Peninsula residents many of whom are in the "vulnerable" category. The first step effective from those arriving from 11am Friday 27th March is that we will be closing down amenities including toilets, showers, camp kitchen and playground equipment. At this stage the ...laundry will stay open with people observing the distancing rules but this may change without notice if deemed a risk by authorities. Cabins are all self contained. From now we will only book in self contained motorhomes or caravans. Must have own toilet and shower and cooking facilities on board. We can provide grey water discharge, dump point, electricity and water. We are currently working on different pricing. Everyone staying here will need to act responsibly and adhere to the gathering and distancing rules as per Tas Govt health. Full refunds (or credits to future stays if preferred) will be made to anyone booked in that is not self contained and therefore not able to stay. For those from Tasmania that are self contained or in a cabin and wish to cancel i.e. choose not to come - and we do understand your dilemma - please also let us know asap. Email us rather than phone please. All held bookings will receive advice via email or phone in the next few days. Obviously we do not make these decisions lightly but keep well and there will be plenty more holiday opportunities. Lastly this is a stressful time for all of us. No one should have to put up with verbal abuse or arguments. Businesses and authorities should not have to justify making decisions for the public good. Sometimes it is not all about us or you..this is one if those times. Take care everyone

03.01.2022 Sun is rising. 32 hours to go before we re-open. Have you booked yet? No holiday pricing ..just our lower Winter rates because it has been tough for everyone. Plenty of self contained cabins too....it is forecast to be a little cooler.

03.01.2022 Another nice day and evening. This is the view from tent site 12.

02.01.2022 Here at White Beach even our meh sunsets are good

01.01.2022 Port Arthur Historic site closing from tomorrow.

01.01.2022 Did you know about the Accommodation Vouchers being offered to boost tourism and associated businesses such as ours? An accommodation voucher can apply to establishments offering short-term stays on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays during September, October or November 2020. This includes school hols in that period (not Friday or Saturdays) Note seems you need to pay and then get "voucher" i.e. reimbursed. If you have already booked and paid for accommodat...ion Sept-Oct and want a receipt just email us. https://buysomethingtasmanian.com.au/tourism/voucher/

01.01.2022 Thank you for staying at home this Easter and thereby looking out for the residents of Tasman Peninsula. We are proud that our site holders who would normally be coming down to stay in their vans for Easter are responsible and caring of others. Thank you.
