25.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE: To our valued customers, We hope you are all staying healthy and safe. ... As you are all aware, the coronavirus situation is constantly intensifying, and we are finding ways to adjust to the everchanging complexities that we are all now facing. As we are a healthcare provider, it is important that we are able to continue our operations and the measures we are implementing are there to ensure that both our customers and our staff remain safe and at minimal risk. While we remain open, we are now not allowing customer access in to our store and our staff will be meeting customers at the door to assist them with their needs. We will also only be offering essential services at the moment, such as prescription items and other important Pharmaceutical requirements, which of course includes Pharmacist consults and advice. This will ensure that we can maintain appropriate social distancing and hygiene requirements and focus on the most critical needs of our community. We are also a supplying Pharmacy for a large number of Residential Aged Care Facilities across the Hunter region, and our services are critically important to them, now more than ever, as these Residents are not able to easily access other Pharmacies, and they rely on us for their medicines. The elderly are some of the most vulnerable in this situation so we must protect them at all costs. It is critical that our services can continue to them. Please do not come into the store if you have travelled overseas, if you have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or if you are showing any signs or symptoms of cold & flu. By not taking these important guidelines seriously, it poses a risk to other customers and our staff, including those involved in the services to our Aged Care Facilities. We understand that this is a difficult time for all and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation, understanding and assistance in properly dealing with the situation. Please also be patient with our frontline staff. They are working extremely hard to make sure we can continue to provide important healthcare services to the community. We are of course always available to offer support and advice via phone (02 4943 3798) or Facebook Messenger @whitebridgepharmacy. You can also continue to contact us to arrange deliveries of prescriptions and medicines so you don’t need to put yourself at risk of coming out in to the community, or if you are restricted to home isolation. Remember to wash your hands, follow social distancing measures and follow all updated directives from the Government as they become available. Ensure good hygiene, wash your hands often & cover your coughs/sneezes,... 2. Social distancing is important whenever possible, 3. Panic buying and stockpiling of Pharmaceutical products is not necessary and is unsustainable. Pharmacists need to enforce practical limits at the moment (most often one month at a time) to ensure that everyone can access their medicines, 4. Only rely on reputable sources for information and advice about COVID-19 such as Government websites - visit health.gov.au for the latest updates. Our staff are working very hard to look after all of our customers, both in store and via home deliveries. Please respect our front line team there may be longer script waiting times and stock shortages that are out of their control at the moment, but we will always find ways to support you.
