25.01.2022 W40K Game #2: Ultramarines and Deathwatch vs Salamanders and Eldar Elsewhere on on the planet at another outer artillery defence position, the Eldar have met with Salamander forces resting at Catachan after the disaster of Vigilus. They parlay and bring grim news of the psychic awakening and the threat posed to all. However Ultramarine forces stranded in-system by warp storm activity acting on vox-casts from Deathwatch have detected the Eldar and followed to apprehend the xen...os for Primaris Deathwatch interrogators. The Salamanders understanding the dire risk to humanity know they have little choice but to defend the Eldar messengers: Codex Astartes or not, the Ultramarines must see reason and the Deathwatch must listen.

23.01.2022 W40K Game #1: Catachan Imperial Guard vs. Deathwatch The psychic awakening first touched the Death World of Catachan. Great horrors untold already exist on this most lethal of planets, but the psyker and wych also began to appear with the coming of Chaos and the Blood Gods taint. The forces of Deathwatch, already pursuing Eldar scouts, arrived at Catachan just as the warp crested its waves in the Catachan galaxy. Preset satellites monitoring the system security triggered eno...ugh warnings to their cogitators that Deathwatch went planetside. Elements of the Catachan planetary defence force were also following their own signs of evil in the winds of their death world. Unfortunately their lack of contact to warn Deathwatch of their presence in the area has lead to a conflict: poor communication kills in the Imperium of Man.

22.01.2022 WDB Monthly Event (24/10): Eldar, Ultramarines, Dark Eldar, Space Wolves, Salamanders and Necrons. The psychic awakening continues to stir the tides of the warp around the Catachan system. Following the vital data obtained from the deceptive Thousand Sons and the truth being revealed to the charmed Catachan Imperial Guard, the forces of the Imperium have begun to coordinate their next move in the campaign: other worlds must be warned. But the Death World of Catachan continues... to draw the eyes of the Chaos Gods and other forces are once again in play on the regicide board: the Dark Eldar have arrived. The psychic awakening has touched all areas of the universe and the Dark Eldar are not amused. Data is needed for knowledge is power and this is potentially a situation that can be exploited in their favour against the cattle races. The strike now to steal the information is too good of an opportunity to pass up. But they’ve been detected and the race is on: the Ultramarines are swiftly returning from their barge to the fight, the Space Wolves on planet are furious and charging to the hunt, while the Craftworld Eldar slip in again from the webway to follow the forecasts of time. Voxcasts have also been sent to the Salamanders by the Catachan Imperial Guard petitioning for them to return from orbit and join the hunt... but these have been intercepted. The Silent King knows. And they are coming...

17.01.2022 W40K Game #1 (26/09/2020): Catachan Imperial Guard & Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marines vs. Salamanders & Deathwatch Following information provided by the Eldar, the Salamanders on Catachan make contact with the Deathwatch and explain the truth of the psychic awakening that has touched the system: daemon presence is here. And the Thousand Sons are exasperating the confusion with warp taint illusion trickery to confuse battalions of the Catachan planetary defence force into thi...nking THEY are the loyal Space Marines of Primarch Guilliman’s fleets. With the Ultramarines dispatched back to warn their Primarch (and attend to their wounded from the last conflict), the Salamanders bring forward their heavy support and lead the Deathwatch to the real objective. Meanwhile the auguries seen by the Thousand Sons have tipped them off that their ruse is not complete. While they wait for their servo-skulls to assess the warp incursions of Catachan, they have no choice but to dig in and send their friends forward as fodder.

16.01.2022 Game two of yesterdays WDB Casual 40K Saturdays: newly arrived Ultramarines fight a delaying action against the encroaching Death Guard. On one of the nameless agriworlds that supply forgeworld Amontep II, one of the Death Guard warbands strike out from the Cicatrix Maledictum to weaken the embattled Imperium further. The Cadian garrison, alongside the hastily mustered PDF have held the line, while suffering massive casualties. Fortunately a small Ultramarine strike force h...as been dispatched to repulse Nurgles chosen, and engage the Death Guard immediately. (Da Bosss new Ultramarines Primaris vs Thomas Death Guard - this game was a comedy of errors, the dice rolling was terrible)

10.01.2022 WBD Casual 40K Saturday: Table 1 Forgebane narrative continues on! Following the heroic Salamanders killing the Necron Deathmark possessing the critical data, the race is on to get the cypher codes so their Tech-Marines can unlock the information and find a way back to the tomb complex without engaging the primary Necron army bombarding the primary forge complex: lowering the risk to the serf, workers and civilian population demands that they try!... Meanwhile the Necrons have recovered their losses and send a second patrol force again through the lines to intercept the Salamanders Kill Team before they can escape with their stolen data node. Once again the lethal targeting systems of the Necron vehicles is in play on the battlefield and another Triarch Stalker makes its way through the outer complex ruins to aid the Necron counter attack. The situation continues to grow dire as the Adeptus Mechanicus rush to defend their already acquired blackstone stores while also holding a firm safe haven for any reinforcements that arrive in-system. The clock has not stopped ticking. Either the Salamanders continue to stall the Necron advance on the primary forge complex of Amontep II and get the cypher data codes or the Necrons will retrieve their complete tactical data to again be in force strong enough to infiltrate and potentially eliminate the Adeptus Mechanicus command.

09.01.2022 With the resuming of the ForgeBane campaign, the forces of the Imperium of Man have successfully pushed the Necrons of the Sautekh Dynasty and Nihilakh Dynasty back to the awakening tomb complex, buying more time for the defenders of the nearby forge complex to reorganise. But time is running out. While the Salamanders succeeded in contacting Deathwatch, they have not yet arrived. And more advanced Necron forces are always activating... If the Necrons throw back the Adeptus Mechanicus again, the forge complex will need to be evacuated.

Multiple Necron dynasties are now active and the forces of the Imperium of Man are doing all they can to buy time as the forge complexes are evacuated. The critical blackstone already mined has been retrieved and now its hold the line or die doing so. Meanwhile multiple Eldar forces have also appeared from a hidden warp gate, seeking to take advantage of the situation by not only striking a blow at their hated Necron enem...ies but also stealing whatever blackstone they can. The Ultramarines, Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers are desperate to maintain the defensive perimeter while the Salamanders and Deathwatch are engaged elsewhere in the system. But dark tides on the psyker visions predict worse is to come... the Psychic Awakening approaches.

05.01.2022 It will come as no surprise that weve made some changes in the shop, in line with WHO and government health guidelines in this time of crisis. Apart from frequently disinfecting surfaces, wed like to request customers use the provided hand sanitiser when they enter the shop. Paywave is preferred to minimise contact. Another excellent option is mail order: just contact us by FB/phone/email/carrier pigeon and well post it out to you. Fortunately were blessed with customers ...who are both literate and intelligent, so probably none of this will come as a surprise. :P Finally, thank you all for your support. Lets prepare sensibly and hopefully make it out the other side intact.
