25.01.2022 Well these guys were A LOT of fun! Daryl & Michael - what an amazing day! Newbry Downs hosted the beautiful ceremony, kicking the day off with the goods! And WOW was the reaction, especially for Michael, when he saw his gorgeous bride coming down the aisle. Daryl you were such a stunning Bride! And that dress, perfection!!! ... The speeches brought quite a few laughs, especially with Michael admitting he thought he was flawless (as most men probably do!) Congratulations guys on such a fun Wedding Day! 24.01.2022 Well... you'd think this would be easy to write with 10 years to draft something up. But it's always a little hard to find the right words to describe the Wedding Day of two beautiful friends. Jon + Dan, or should I say Green Eyes & Dingo - WOW. What a day!... We've been friends for a long time and we've made some amazing memories together, but watching you two tie the knot at your brand new house, really trumped them all. You guys have really set the bar high for a backyard wedding. It's pretty special to be married in your own home and you guys did it perfectly! Sexy Alexi was right, you guys have the drive, the passion and Dani definitely has the backbone - don't mess with her. She's never wrong and what she says, goes! Especially the part about the yearly snow trips to Japan! Hey Jon! ;) The day could not have gone ahead without Andy & Rufus, the fur (almost human) babies. 24.01.2022 It's true, you're about to witness history. Jade and Luke tied the knot at Fig Tree Restaurant Byron Bay and what a place to write history. From the start of the day, we knew it was going to be a winner... but seeing Luke's reaction as Jade walked down the aisle sealed the deal.... 21.01.2022 Ines and Don certainly put on a good party!! Which was a given really, when you have a wedding of combined cultures! You have the food, the music & of course, the dancing! The day took place at the beautiful grounds of Sarabah Estate, proving to be the perfect backdrop for this cultured couple. The I do’s were held in front of the incredible Manor, overlooking the vineyards.... We then later moved over to the open Marquee, where the real celebrations and array of dance moves kicked in to gear! As the Best Man, Gareth said, Don knew from the beginning, that Ines was the one... and it certainly showed when he saw Ines for the first time, walking down the aisle. These guys have an awesome story and as you will see, they really are soul mates.... We kicked off the day with Adam and his groomsmen at White Haven house in Byron Bay. It was mega relaxed with a few quiet beers as they slowly rolled in to their daper kits. Tash and the girls enjoyed a relaxing morning at the very nice 'Away at Belongil' house, cracking some champas to make sure they got ready in style. The whole day was full of love and emotion, especially the moment Adam saw Tash walk down the aisle. The afternoon was picture perfect! Those train tracks leading into the perfect byron bay sunset! 19.01.2022 It's no wonder Carly & Aaron already reek of happily ever after when they both have powerhouse parents who set such a perfect example of happy marriage! They're probably thinking "there's no such thing as a perfect marriage" but over 30 years together and still radiating happiness is pretty close to it! Rarely does anyone upstage the bride on their walk down the aisle except for the gorgeous Page Boy who showcased a perfectly timed 'Dab' as he handed over the rings to the be...st man. Oh Bless him!! (especially as the dab is noted to resemble sneezing). There's too many amazing things to mention about this awesome day... The amazing portrait session in the local book shop to feature their beloved Harry Potter, or the picture perfect sunset at One Tree Hill. It was almost as perfect as Ollie's fist pump! 18.01.2022 What an absolutely awesome Wedding Day on beautiful Magnetic Island. We learned the reason for the specific destination was Rose's family history... however I believe it to be something more. "If everything is attracted to you, whether you're a refrigerator door or a rock star, you're magnetic. Magnetic literally refers to something that attracts metal, like iron or steel. ... Magnetic people make you want to get closer, like you're being pulled by their magical magnetic forc...e." Not only are these two legends total Rock Stars, but they're undeniably drawn to each other, by their magical magnetic force - so this location could not have been more perfect, in more ways than one! What a total privilege it was to watch an old friend tie the knot. Mostly because when you know someone for so long, you really get to see when they are the best version of themselves. 16.01.2022 This day was PERFECT. The End. That is really all that needs to be said, but to be fair and give this love story the introduction it deserves, here we go; Stelle and Hugh first met in Paris back in 2012 (Told you it was perfect).... With a couple of years apart, their paths crossed again in Noosa and the reason the Noosa Foreshore was the perfect backdrop for their I do's. While the Newlyweds were off on their portrait session, family and friends enjoyed a boat cruise down Noosa River, docking at Ricky's River Bar + Restaurant. Insert divine food and wine here. With the speeches done and dusted and a few tissues later, the dance floor was kicked off with the Father of the Bride Dance....and what a dance it was! We finally found out where Stelle got her dance moves from! After one too many espresso martinis, we packed our bags and called it a night. But what a night to remember! 16.01.2022 There's always something about a family wedding, but the wedding of immediate family is extra special, especially when we were both lucky enough to be in the bridal party! The very emotional ceremony was set on top of the hill at Mavis's Kitchen, which was picture perfect overlooking Mt Warning. While we were off getting some amazing footage (in between the swooping plovers), the garden party was kicking off with some awesome acoustic tunes by our cousin Adam. ... The grand entrance to the reception certainly warmed everyone up for the big party ahead. All the speeches were amazing, even the MC 'Howie' was on fire! Although everyone spoke well, the real winner was the bride herself, being heart-felt, hilarious and extremely high-pitch! Generally the higher the decibel, the happier Sam is, which was obvious by the smile on her face all day! Guys, thanks for the honour of standing by your sides. 15.01.2022 *Tissue Alert* What is it about men getting emotional that just pulls at the heart strings? The way Corey lights up when he looks at Lauren really says it all. ... Even though it was 8 years after first meeting when they got together, I can't help but feel like this is a 'love at first sight' kind of story. At least it seems like that every time they look at each other. These two lovebirds really do shine with happiness, which radiates to everyone around them! And that alone is the perfect recipe for an awesome wedding! We started out early in Yamba with Lauren and her girls, which all lead to the big reveal of the dress.... and holy moly, what a dress! Not all brides are lucky enough to be in-the-know with Grace Loves Lace and Lauren certainly did every stitch and thread justice! Corey had a relaxed morning with the boys... a quick surf to calm the nerves and of course the token XXXX stubby. The ceremony was held at the St Mary's Catholic Church, which was the perfect setting for these two stunners to tie the knot. After a glorious portrait session, we moved to a stunning clear marquee, set up under the stars at Angourie Resort to get the true celebrations rolling. This group of friends really do know how to party! And we should know, we've been to three weddings now! I can't keep going on about this day without oversharing every spectacular detail! 11.01.2022 Growing up, I always loved the movie 'My Best Friend's Wedding' - now here we are...and I can surely say the real deal far surpassed the movie! (Except I do wish at some point we broke out in 'I say a little prayer for you'...but anyway). What a day!! It's really hard to put in to words how perfect it was. Legit - it was PERFECT!... From start to finish the day could not have gone more to plan. (Thank god, otherwise Marc would have been a nervous wreck!...More so than he already was haha). Jessie - where do I begin? I know it's cliche to say you were the most stunning bride, but you really were. You've always had such an effortless beauty about you and this day was no different. (DW - I won't mention the burping...) And of course, Marc, you were 'The most Handsome Groom' (we only have to ask you) - It isn't said enough, but Jessie is one lucky girl! The Orchard Estate was the backdrop for this stunning day. A romantic ceremony in the Orchard, followed by a rocking sunset overlooking the Byron Hinterland, followed by an awesome reception to get the party started. The weather could not have been any better, it was almost like you had two certain angels looking down on you especially. I know your families play such an important role in your lives, from the old to the new, so it would be rude not to give them a special mention! Especially Jules - who looked stunning. 11.01.2022 When Alex mentioned in the morning that Kisstee had never seen him cry, we thought we were in for a pretty dry day. ...But the moment Alex saw Kisstee walking down the aisle, certainly changed that! 11.01.2022 It was so obvious from first meeting Bianca & Michael, that they were perfect for each otherand their wedding day was just as perfect! Bianca & Michael said their I do’s in front of their family & friends, beautifully set at The Horizons, overlooking the stunning Byron Bay hinterland. The portrait session ticked all the boxes!! With a quick trip down to the beach, then out through the hinterland on the Big Red Bus and of course back to Horizons! Does it get any better?... Yep It did! Holy shooting stars! 10.01.2022 What a way to finish the year!!! Nick & Mia’s day was absolutely AMAZING! We had the pressure on us, with Nick’s whole family being in the filming & editing industry - But these guys made our job easy!... The whole day was set at the Earth House, which doesn’t get much better as a wedding venue. Mia had planned everything to perfection and yes, the napkins did match the cutlery perfectly! These guys certainly put on a great day and an even better celebration. The party kicked on long in to the night and it was clear that these two are crazy about each other. Or Mia was crazy enough to wait around for Nick while he travelled the world But it was worth the wait! 10.01.2022 I don’t know where to start? Either with the awesome story of how two helicopter pilots fell in love, that Nic’s parents ‘tattooed’ themselves to officially welcome Ash to the family, or that they got married at the BEST. VENUE. EVER. Here goes... It’s as they always say location, location, location! And Stones of the Yarra really is the best! The morning downpour meant a slight change of plans, to a perfect chapel ceremony (which we were secretly pleased about because the chapel is absolutely breathtaking!). After the beautiful nuptials, we darted between showers around the stunning venue for some picture-perfect moments before the grand entrance to the reception, where the real party started. The barn was adorned with stunning hanging greenery, below the tables covered in luscious garlands. A perfect set up for a night full of great food, great speeches and even greater dance moves. The awesome relationship Nic & Ash have with their respective in-laws is a rarity, very special and worthy of a mention! 07.01.2022 Trying to caption your friend’s Wedding Day is always so hard, as a guest you really feel the emotions of the day and it’s difficult to put that into words, but trying to put the emotions of this day into words has certainly been the hardest. It would be remiss of me not to mention Richard, Britt’s Dad who sadly passed the week before the Wedding. With so much courage and strength, Britt & Chad decided to go ahead with the big dayand what an absolutely special day it was.... Britt & Chad, your love for one another shines through even in the darkest of times. I’ve watched your film 100 times over and every time I have a smile ear to ear with so much joy. You guys truely respect each other and really are best mates, it absolutely shows and it so nice to watch (100 times over haha). When we said we had a Wedding in Toowoomba everyone asked, ‘Is the couple from there?’ My response was always no, but the venue is so stunning it is worth travelling to! But WOW! Gabbinbar Homestead is seriously BEAUTIFUL! The grounds are out of this world during the day and absolutely magical at night! Especially with that fireworks entrance! A special mention to little Harper, being a flower girl is a pretty important job and Harper took her role very seriously, the placement of those petals was perfect! Without knowing it, she gave us all a little giggle, settled everyones emotions and especially Chad’s nerves! Chad Man, you’re an absolute legend!!! 06.01.2022 What can I say about Sophie & Toby? When faced with a challenge you can see these guys come out on topand that’s a pretty good place to start a marriage. Just by looking at these two, you can see how incredibly genuine and strong they are and not to mention extremely good looking!!... We spent the morning with Toby & his boys, while they got ready over a few Gin’s and a couple of jokesbut mostly talking up their dance moves and how they would later drop it like it’s hot! I was pleased to see that they put their money (or moves) where their mouth was! We then met up with Sophie, her parents and her two bridesmaids for their preparations. [Before I continue I feel like we owe it to Sophie’s dress, to just take a minute in it’s honour]. But seriously, Sophie your dress was absolutely stunning. And you wearing it was utter perfection! The ceremony was short & sweet, held at the High Church in the Valley, very intimate and proved to be the perfect backdrop for the I-do’s. While the guests moved to the reception, we hit the Botanical Gardens for a quick but AMAZING portrait session. The sunset and light could not have been better and it really did show off the dress in all it’s glory! With perfect lighting, a sheer skirt and cathedral veil, we were in bridal heaven. As was Toby admiring his beautiful bride. These two made their grand entrance, for the first time as Husband & Wife at Blackbird on the river front. What a place and what a view for a perfect night ahead. We were entertained by a few laughs across all speeches but nothing beat the moment Toby spoke about Sophie. The blushing bride and the smile on Toby’s face really said it all. These two are a truly amazing couple and we are so happy we were able to share in their special day. 06.01.2022 Jess & Jarrod have a pretty awesome story and we couldn't be happier that we were lucky enough to capture their special day! It may have taken two introductions and a round of the bar before these two finally connected, but it seemed it was meant to be! Or Jess just has a thing for bright orange singlets and sideways caps? Either way, it’s a great story for the kids! The whole day was full of emotion, especially Jarrod’s sister’s reading at the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry ey...e in the house and there is nothing that gets us more than a teary groom! The reception set up was absolutely stunning! Clear marquee under the stars on the stunning Goremans Road propertyabsolute perfection! We are glad Jarrod had a few quiet nights in to get all the last minute details sorted! 05.01.2022 Sometimes the key to a great relationship is persistence! Or is it a sneaky kiss in the car park? Either way, both played part in starting this great relationship! The intimate Braeside Chapel + Marquee was the perfect back drop to this amazing day. ... It was a total pull on the heart strings watching a big rugby buff hold back tears as his beautiful bride walks down the aisle. This day was just full of love and emotion and we couldn't ask for more! After the speeches let out a few secrets of how these two hit it off, the dance floor got started by a special number by the newly weds. We assume it's all the rugby that made Coops so 'light of foot' as they call it. Lastly, as the groom so perfectly said, you marry the one you cannot live without and Josh cannot live without his Jaclyn (sigh!). 05.01.2022 It’s true, Luke does have a ‘big brother’ presence about him maybe it’s just the sheer size of him! Either way, you can tell when he looks at Liv, that he’ll always be there for her and sometimes, that’s all you need! Luke must have known the grass was greener when he made the big decision to move from his home town and land on the sunny GC. And as his Best Man said, it was the best decision he’s ever made. Luke and Olivia’s emotional ceremony was set in the tranquil amphi...theatre of Boomerang Farm, with their nearest & dearest watching over. The grounds of Boomerang Farm were the perfect backdrop for our portrait session and even better for some must-have lawn games! It’s always after the formalities where everyone starts to relax and you could see the close friendships between the whole bridal party. It wasn’t just Liv’s girls & Luke’s boys, it was one big group, which is so special to see. After the heartfelt speeches, the d-floor kicked in to gear and all we can remember after that was dancing, dancing & more dancing! 03.01.2022 Some Weddings are "Weddings".... and there are some Weddings that are Parties! This was certainly a party and what an awesome party it was! Set at the beautiful Summergrove Estate (I gotta admit, a personal favourite - I mean look at this place, it's amazing!) This day was set to impress from the get-go!... Coupled with a few low hanging clouds and some amazing sun flares, we were in for an awesome portrait session and topped off with a bloody good looking wedding party for the trifecta!! The tunes were cranking during the signing of the 'official paperwork' which is a good sign you're in for a pretty good night ahead! Josh certainly had a few good dance moves, the most impressive part was holding an espresso martini and maintaining a clean white shirt! That is a seriously good skill to have! 02.01.2022 There’s something so special about watching two friends tie the knot and this day was no exception! Jeb & Georgia’s day was absolutely magical. It had the perfect balance of love and laughter. Ewingsdale Hall was the perfect setting for the day; we started with a beautiful garden ceremony, followed by a smashing cocktail hour and a few A-class poses in the Kombi booth! ...
