The Group is currently seeking a person to support our Finance Manager to perform a Finance & Accounts role. This position is a part-time role between 20 and 25 hours per week with some flexibility in hours needed at busy times (e.g. Weekly reconciliation, end of month, EOFY, reporting periods, etc). What is great about this role is that you can work flexible hours which means if you have commitments (such as picking up or dropping off kids at school OR caring for loved ones etc) then you can work around your personal commitments. The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to: - Daily entry and reconciliation of daily takings, - Provide support/mentor for Daily Managers reconciliation, - Accounts Payable/Receivable, - End of Month Accruals, - Assist with preparation of monthly accounts/reports, - Assist with BAS, GST, FBT, Payroll adjustments and all Tax Reporting requirements, - Support of internal controls, and - Assist with Group's statutory compliance and lodgement obligations with ATO, ASIC, Revenue NSW and other regulatory bodies To succeed for this role, you will need to demonstrate strong administrative capabilities who has the: - Ability to work successfully in a flexible team environment, - Strong financial/accounts skills and experience, - Experience in MYOB Accounting software, - Tertiary qualifications in Bookkeeping, or working towards, - Strong attention to detail in all areas, and - Honesty and integrity.
