25.01.2022 Take it to your tits Did you know how important it is to make sure that you look after the skin on your neck and decolletage? It is an area that gets forgotten about when it comes to our skincare regime but it is also highly exposed to skin aggressors like UVA/UVB rays causing pigmentation and free radical damage. Also we tend to spray our perfume directly onto our chests (are you guilty of this?!) which is highly inflammatory and barrier disruptive due to the ingredients... found in perfume it can also cause discolouration!!! (skin tip: always spray on your clothes or look for more natural scents like essential oils!). It is also an area that is highly visible so if you're looking after your face but not your neck and deck, the chances are that you will start to see the signs of premature ageing here first while the skin on your face is radiating a healthy, youthful glow still! But this also means that Rany has decided to take a break from work for the moment to look after herself and her growing little one. 07.01.2022 Okay so something I want to talk about today is being in a shit mood or feeling a little stressed out! We all know those mornings that you wake up and you are not firing at 100% or you feel a little cranky or maybe over whelmed by the the huge list of things you have to get done with not enough hours in the day (cough cough me this morning haha!) Now I'm a huge believer in you can choose your attitude or you can turn what your feeling around and I wanted to share a few things... I do when I wake up not feeling my best self! Get some fresh air or go for a walk Listen to a podcast (can be anything but I love choosing things that may relate to what I'm focusing my energy on or little life hacks to inspire a better can do attitude) Meditate (if you think you don't have time for this you probably need it the most!) there are plenty of short meditation practices you can bring in to your day Breathe- did you know just 6 deliberate breaths can change your body's state?! Be aware of what you are consuming and I'm not talking about food. Junk can also be shows you watch, articles your reading (put down the gossip mag... Karen) even to much social media! A collective of drama filled negative content can really have a subtle yet huge effect on our perspective and how we are feeling. Practice gratitude. This one is big! What you draw your attention to you will notice more so I love at the end of the day to list at least three things I've enjoyed or am thankful for. They don't have to be show stoppers to have an positive impact Call my mum (not saying you should call her to though haha she is a busy lady ) . We all need that someone who is our life cheer leader. Reaching out to someone who always has your back is a winner! Debrief with them get some TLC and carry on! Write a list. I have lists about lists but it is something I find so helpful when tasks start to pile up. We have over 60,000 thoughts a day so if I can get the must not forgets down on paper it's a huge help.
