25.01.2022 A quick thank you to the many women who turned up to the Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Club Women’s team information night. It looks like we are nearly there to getting a full Women’s 15’s team together to enter the 2021 ACT Premier Rugby competition. For those who are still sitting on the sidelines (bad pun) it’s now time to email the address below and let us know that you want to join in the action as pre-season starts next Tuesday the 19th at Taylor Park.



22.01.2022 PRESENTATION IN THE PARK With COVID restrictions limiting our ability to hold a presentation night, we are taking it old school and holding this year’s presentation at Campese Field. This season’s Presentation in the Park will include a spit roast lunch and 2 drink vouchers plus cracking awards on offer for our many deserving players, volunteers and supporters. The event will be very casual with all players encouraged to bring their families and partners to celebrate t...he unprecedented season that was 2020! Time: 12pm 3pm Tickets: $30 per person. Children 10 and under are free. Location: Campese Field Dress: Casual Entertainment: TBA RSVP and payment needed by 12.00pm Sunday 1 November 2020 for catering reasons. *Please note we will not be able to cater for you if do not RSVP and make payment. 13.01.2022 Hello all, A reminder that the 2020 Queanbeyan Whites, Presentation in the Park will start at 12.00pm at David Campese Oval on Saturday 07 November 2020 On arrival please enter via the pathway to the Canteen and the Gym. (The same COVID entry point that we had for home games) Committee members will be in attendance to check you in, give you your arm band and hand you your two drink tickets. (Ensure that you have your payment receipt with you.)... Lunch will be served at 12.30pm. Presentation of Awards will start at 1.00pm and conclude at 2.00pm Presentation will conclude at 3.00pm A reminder to bring chairs with you as chairs will not be provided on the day. It’s a day to celebrate with your teammates, families, friends and recognise players achievements from the season that was. We look forward to seeing you at Campese Oval on Saturday!

10.01.2022 The Queanbeyan Whites would like to welcome new and returning players to preseason training that will start on Tuesday the 19th of January at 6pm and continue both Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the season. If you have not played for the club before and would like to see what we are all about, simply turn up to a training session at Taylor Park, introduce yourself and immerse yourself in all that our club has to offer. We look forward to seeing everyone then.

09.01.2022 First grade back rower Justin Sikimeti was named best and fairest, players’ player and best forward at the Whites presentation day. Sikimeti was the go-to man throughout the season and his tough running often led to tries. He broke the line and added starch to the defensive barrier to make him the standout for 2020. Fullback Jackson Stuart was the best back after returning to the fold from a short stint at that other game. The club has reduced the number of trophies awarded t...his season with Stuart also in-line for the most improved. He is only going to get better with the Whites. Prop Kemble Frost won the second-grade best and fairest and the best forward with Riley Hughes taking the best back award. Frost played several first-grade games and again the club will be looking forward to having him build on the season in 2021. Jed Stuart had to back up the ute to take home his trophy collection with best and fairest in the Colts, players’ player and best forward. To top off the year he also was awarded the much sort after Ziggy Gift. Best back was the mercurial Michael Rademaker. Third grade coach Tim O’Brien named John Steele as the best and fairest and best back and novice Hugo Vilano as best forward. Wonderful Wez Fourth grade fullback Wez Alexander scooped the pool at the Whites presentation day winning the Peter Ryan Trophy as the club's highest point scorer and winning best and fairest, players' player and best back for the premiership winning fourths. 04.01.2022 2020 Team of the Season Club captain Daniel Naef announced the Tony Innaimo Team of the Season at the Whites presentation party. There were a couple of controversial selections which led to much debate around the afternoon tea. The side was chosen based on the weekly teams of the week which have become a feature of each round along with the Hellenic Club of Canberra Hercules of the round. The team-Fred Kaihea, Davea Teoteo, Kemble Frost, Jed Stuart, Josh Townsend, Hugo Vilano, Matt Taylor, Zac Byrnes, Dan Hawke, Riley Hughes, John Steele, Wez Alexander, Joe Crosbie and Michael Rademaker.
