24.01.2022 Applying first coat of green to our hardwood signs. #wood #woodworking

17.01.2022 Restoring this fantastic carved coffee table. After removing the glass repairs to major damage on the corners and scratches were required including adding a large bevel to remove the damage. We then re-stained the entire table Japan black and will be refinishing in black tinted 30% gloss lacquer.

07.01.2022 We have been restoring this beautiful 1800’s red cedar dining table. We had to completely refurbish the extending frame and mechanism, adding new rails, repairing decades of damage and prior repairs and carefully strengthening areas of major wear. We will post a video of it extending once repairs are completed.

07.01.2022 Hard to believe to amount of furniture we have repaired and restored in the last six months. This is a minor repair needed to the damaged arm rest on one of the carvers of a set of dining chairs. This entire set will have all damage repaired, loose joints re-glued and strengthened where needed and given fresh coats of tinted lacquer. Client will get a beautiful, high quality set of dining chairs that they’d never purchase from furniture stores nowadays.

02.01.2022 Applying fresh coat of Japan black to repaired coffee table.

02.01.2022 Currently making over 120 red cedar frames to showcase the artwork of one of our amazing local artists. We broke down and machined the red cedar first and then profiled it for framing. Each frame once glued will then be individually finish sanded - which means no unsightly cross sanding scratches you see on some conveyor belt, mass produced items that simply get run through large drum belt sanders.
