18.01.2022 We appreciate the growing concern and uneasiness that some of you may be feeling regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. If you are worried about whether your care can continue with us during this period, please rest assured that we are ready to look after you. We have taken steps to make sure our clinics remain as safe as possible, to give you the confidence that you can continue coming in to receive treatment and advice as necessary. To protect you and our team, we are implementin...g the following plan: 1. Hand hygiene and cleaning practices will continue to be emphasised to reduce the spread of any infections 2. Be aware of the following prior to and whilst you are in our clinic: a. Maintain hand hygiene by cleaning your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub. b. Practice good cough/sneeze etiquette by keeping away from other people, using disposable tissues or clothing (e.g. into your elbow), disposing of tissues and cleaning your hands afterwards. 3. We have placed hand sanitisers in our clinics for all to use 4. If you have a cold, flu, runny nose, cough or believe you may be coming down with any respiratory illness, please call to reschedule your appointment. 5. Please call to reschedule your appointment if you have had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19. 6. If you have returned from an overseas trip in the last 14 days, please also call us to reschedule your appointment. 7. Please try to keep it to one accompanying person per patient, and the accompanying person will be limited to the clinic waiting area only. Only patients and staff will enter the treatment areas. Please speak to our staff if you have any concerns regarding this arrangement. 8. If you develop respiratory symptoms or fever, please call HealthDirect on 1800 022 222 and seek medical assistance. 15.01.2022 Fast and cheap doesnt mean better. Without a specialist orthodontist to oversee your treatment youre missing out on their wealth of knowledge and experience that can impact the health of you or your childs teeth.

15.01.2022 It shouldn't take long for your braces to feel normal, but here are some things you can do if you are feeling some discomfort.

15.01.2022 Dr Pang and all our wonderful staff would like to wish our gorgeous patients and their families and very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy 2019! 15.01.2022 To our lovely patients and families, Our practice has reopened today under the step-back to Level 2 Restrictions for dentistry whereby some routine orthodontic treatment can now be provided. We will be contacting those patients who require routine adjustments of their braces to schedule appointments. ... There are restricted procedures that we cannot perform at this time under current guidelines, and we will also contact those patients who are affected by these restrictions. We ask for your understanding in this matter as this is for the safety of our patients and staff and the community at large. Our practice is following the most up to date protocols mandated by the National Cabinet, and these restrictions are in place to reduce community infection risk as part of public health policy. If community infection and transmission rates continue to reduce, restrictions will be lifted further. We have your best interest and well-being at heart and your concerns will be attended to as soon as possible, once restrictions are lifted. We look forward to seeing you soon!

10.01.2022 The world is becoming an increasingly convenient place. But quicker doesnt necessarily mean better, especially when it comes to health care

10.01.2022 It shouldnt take long for your braces to feel normal, but here are some things you can do if you are feeling some discomfort.

10.01.2022 Good News: We are now moving to Level 1 restrictions! The Dental Board of Australia has announced that all dental practitioners in Australia can now move to Level 1 restrictions, and this announcement has been endorsed by the Chief Health Officer of WA. Level 1 restrictions mean all dental treatments using standard precautions can be performed for people who do not meet epidemiological or clinical risk factors for COVID-19 infection transmission. ... This is a significant step toward normality, however it does not yet mean we are back to business as usual. In addition to the rigorous infection control protocols we have always had before, we have applied hygiene rules such as social distancing in the clinic and the use of hand sanitisers which are readily available throughout our practice. Only patients are to enter the treatment area and we encourage parents and siblings to wait outside if possible. In the waiting room, we have taken away high-touch items that cannot be easily cleaned (toys and magazines, even our games console!) and self check-in using the touch screen will no longer be available, instead, please let our receptionist know when you arrive. We will reschedule your appointment if you have a fever or an acute respiratory infection such as a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, or if in the past 14 days you have returned from overseas or interstate or been in contact with someone with Covid-19. Please ring us on 93074033 if you have any questions. Thank you to our lovely patients and their families for your support in this challenging time, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our practice!

01.01.2022 What teens can expect from their journey to their perfect smile.

01.01.2022 Dear patients, families and friends, As you are aware our community is currently experiencing a truly unprecedented situation, and our Practice is also severely affected. I am acutely aware that the COVID-19 pandemic is causing significant and temporary interruptions to our normal working lives. We are all experiencing this for the first time together.... The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee, the key decision-making committee for health emergencies comprised of all state and territory Chief Health Officers and chaired by the Chief Medical Officer, has now advised that Level 3 restrictions be applied to all dental treatment. This means that clinical services have to be limited to emergency treatment only. Therefore, it has now become necessary to stop seeing our patients for all routine treatment. Both our clinics will be closed until further notice. Our reception and telephones will be unattended. We will resume regular patient care once we get the all clear from the government. I ask for your patience and understanding in this matter. If you require emergency treatment or have any questions, please write to Dr Pang by - Email: [email protected] or Website: www.whitfordcityortho.com.au (via the contact form) and he will respond to you as soon as possible. Please remain calm and be safe. Thank you.
